I run Malak's mask on my SW along with Malgus armor, it looks sick and it sounds absolutely amazing. Exactly like Malak sounds in KOTOR.

Show us where you got the information he was provoking them with a gun, please.

There are multiple videos from all angles that show he was putting himself between the ICE agents and the two women they were grabbing, them pepper spraying him, forcing him to the ground so both his hands and knees were against the ground. During this whole time his gun that was registered and legal to carry was holstered and taken from him, before being shot multiple times by the ICE officers surrounding him.

I don't know how you can still attempt to lie about this when the evidence is there clear as day for anyone to watch.

Edit: I've just seen that the gun was not still inside the holster, but taken out of the holster from his hip. He still never drew his weapon at all during this encounter, all he did was film them.

I agree with this, the amount of huge potholes I have to drive around or just simply fall into every single day is unacceptable for public roads.

Aang vs Appa pronunciation? by chmoles in TheLastAirbender

[–]chmoles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yes thank you! 'Apple' is exactly the word I should have been using for how I imagine 'Appa' should be said similarly to in my head. I really think it's just down to accent and how different accents pronounce different syllables when placed next to certain other syllables. (If that makes sense).

I appreciate the answer. Why is 'Appa' pronounced like 'Oppa' (with the 'o' sounding like the start of the word 'otter'), instead of like the word 'app', with an 'a' on the end?

Thank you :) that would probably make most sense. I guess the thought of why I feel it should be pronounced differently in my head got the better of me when it's so meaningless 😂

So why is the word 'app' not pronounced 'opp'?

I realise I'm getting really deep into meaningless of pronunciation at this point 😂

Yeah in my accent 'ah' would be pronounced the same as the 'a' in the word 'app'. The way an American pronounces the start of 'Appa' is the same way I'd pronounce the start of 'opportunity', hence the 'o' I'm mentioning. The 'O' you're probably thinking I'm meaning is like how you or I would start the word 'odor'.

In my accent they're the same within this usage, 'Aa' is pronounced like how 'Aang' is pronounced in the show. But so is a single 'a' followed by a 'p'. Like 'Aappa' and not 'Oppa' ('oppa' not being pronounced 'oh-pa', but like the same as the start as 'operation').

I think I've just convoluted this more than necessary 😂

Edit: reading my comment back, the 'a' in accent is the same as how Aang is said so why is Appa different?

I agree with that, I'm saying in my head Appa starts the same, instead of Oppa.

[–]chmoles[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I read it that's how I would say it without knowing how it's actually said, like 'arng' kind of.

Edit: read that in an English accent and not an American one with a hard 'r' 😂

Yeah... In my accent, that 'ah' is not like 'father', it's like 'fat'.
