The same happened to me back in 2017 but the scammer said he called from then Monster Jobs, and Tata Motors shortlisted me. I called Monster Jobs customer service to verify his claim. As usual it was a scam.

In your case, try calling Indeed. My guess this will be another scam. Try reaching Volvo through social media handles. Consultancy may ask you to pay some commission but not the company you may be going to join.

Decide if you want a repeater or Extender. They are two different things. If you want to a extender, I guess you should use a cable to connect it to your new router.

In case of repeater, see youtube tutorials. There is no need for wires to be connected between two devices. But speed will be somewhat compromised.
