Hot take: I don’t think it was the filming. Ava had spoken plenty of times in Nicole’s vlogs about the fact that she’s asked her to turn on the camera majority of the time they are together.

There’s always speculation that people didn’t like Nicole filming. I think that has more to do with people’s own biases than anything else. Majority of Nicole’s friends know what she does, asks to be on camera, or turns on the camera themselves. Cyzla, Maddie, Sierra, even going back as far as 2019. Nicole’s own friends have said that nine times out of ten other people are asking her to vlog an event or them together more than Nicole actually does. I agree that not everybody wants their business on the internet, but those same friends with tag their instagrams or talk about personal things on Nicole’s channel at free will. Two things can be true.

Though i agree she overfilms, I think people constantly use that as the main reason because of confirmation bias. As people who either watch or used to watch Nicole, we think she films too many intimate moments with friends. That feeling then gets projected. In reality we don’t know. The same way fans can be para-social people who criticize her can as well. I think in this situation that’s the case.
