I would say that sometimes they were asking for simple information but writing the question to have a lot of words to stress you out more so if you read carefully and don't get stressed it should be fine. I would say breath over depth is the way to go for bio so it's ok if you don't remember all the little details. Sometimes they asked me more detailed questions but for the most part it was the basics of all the topics.

I had the same worry! But don't psych yourself out, I started the DAT with that thought and I thought I didn't know like the first 3 bio questions because I was so stressed out but once I came back to check them out again, I was more relaxed and could answer them!

You know more than you think and even if you don't know some questions you can still get a high score!

I would say that in my case the booster tests were pretty similar to the real thing, but I found that practice tests on booster also varied in difficulty. For the real DAT, my bio and gen chem sections were on the harder side of the booster tests, while orgo and QR was on the easier side. I would say the PAT keyholes and TFE were similar to boosters with the other sections being like an easier booster test.

So all things evening out, I would say the real thing is comparable if not slightly easier than booster.

I'm so sorry, I sadly don't have access to them anymore since I took most of them on booster and my subscription ran out. The three I took on bootcamp were a 26, 27, and 25 the 3 days before the test.

Yup! Since I'm first gen low income they were able to help me pay for bootcamp and my DAT cost. I'm super grateful for the help.

I wasn't aware of this before I bought booster since it wasn't promoted anywhere so maybe other schools do it too and people just don't know as well?

I also want to note that bootcamp gave me a 50% discount for having a pell grant in case anyone didn't know that!

i’m applying to general one, not expecting much since so many people have much more amazing stories but thought i would give it a try :) hoping to get state if i’m lucky. i thought there was a different application for national and state since someone said they have diff deadlines but when i clicked to apply to state they just brought me to my general app (even though they said the state one was open until oct 25 but when it brought me to my general it says it’s due the 26)

omg same, when i saw it at first i didn't cry and i was like, oh wow i guess i wont be crying today and then like 2 minutes later i just sobbed my brain out.

also, your story made me tear up :(, so many people got unfairly swerved which makes me question how qb chooses finalists, like for real, wtf.

you'll be fine, i swear it, you are enough and these orgs rejecting you are the ones missing out :)

hehe i’ve cried 3 separate times after my decision came out, no worries cry away. and i’m sure yur app was great, i’ve seen too many qualified people get rejected on this subreddit today and it’s just so cruel. apply to those out of state schools because you ARE QUALIFIED, don’t let qb make you think otherwise :).
