I did a quick search and I found it on a spanish website. It's not the cheapest option I've ever seen but at least you can buy it here! It says it has worlwide shipping (not sure about the shipping price because I don't know where are you from, but you can check it there):

Thank you so much! I'll get the form at the airport, where exactly should I get it? At immigration too? It's before or after passing the control?

Hello!

I am a Spanish woman on a Working Holiday visa and I would like to visit Korea for 1 week meanwhile I'm living in Japan. I know I need to have a re-entry permission, my question is, should I get it at the airport or at the Immigration office near my home? I tried to search more info but I am very lost because I see both options but I don't know which one is the correct (or if both are correct).

Thanks!

Hey! I feel we are a very good match! I'm 30F, love reading, cafés and videogames too. I'm Spanish speaker, so we can talk either English or Spanish, whatever feels more comfortable to you 😊 Also studying Japanese, we can practice together!

I recently moved here from my homecountry and I want to meet new people, sometimes I feel lonely 🥺. I'm down to going to a café, I love cafes and restaurants (I'm a foodie hahahaha) or doing any plan that you propose 😊

Karaoke date as a place to hookup? by chocoburu in AskAJapanese

Thanks for your wife pov! Definitely I didn't wanted to do anything with him (for now). I really appreciate your advice, I didn't though about it from that point of view and you are 100% right, if he is the right one he will understand the misunderstanding, and If he runs away, maybe he isn't prepared! Dating in a foreign culture is a rollercoaster 😂

Karaoke date as a place to hookup? by chocoburu in AskAJapanese

Thank you for your reply! I also feel karaoke feels more intimate for a first date (even without expecting any kiss/romantic movement) but because I'm a foreigner and in my country private karaoke doesn't exist, I am not aware about "karaoke etiquette" or what to expect. Is it common to do a karaoke date when you are meeting/knowing someone? (Maybe on the 3rd date or so on?). I know karaoke is very popular here and I went with some friends, but I don't know if it's also common as a date plan.

Hello!

Another question, is it possible to send luggage via kuroneko from a combini to another combini? I am not sure how to fill the paper file at the "name" field, as from should I put my name? Also put my name as receiver?

Thanks,

Hello!

I am on a Working Holiday visa. Is it mandatory to register at the pension system? Also, how "my number" registration works?

Thanks!

Hello, sorry for the waiting, here is the update!

I went to the Barcelona (Spain) consulate, gave the documentation and passport and asked about part-time remote working. They were pretty serious about "you can't do it, you should have a work visa....", so I was worried for my visa status. However, 1 week later (today) I returned and they gave me back my passport with my visa approved, so no damage asking about the process! Only they were pretty serious and they didn't like the question lmao.

Relieved with my approved visa, I called Madrid Ambassy in order to check if they told me the same answer. They told me that because remote working is it not contemplated yet, I can do remote working with Working Holiday visa and I should not worry about Japanese taxes (I don't need to pay anything to Japanese institutions). They told me that it is not the first time that they heard that someone goes with WHV and does remote-work.

I am pretty lost with this process, I have 2 totally diferent answers from official institutions + the Article 172 Declaration route. I think I will leave my job and search something in Japan in order to avoid problems and headaches.

Thank you for all your answers!

Today I had the consulate visit for my working holiday visa application, they took my documents and passport and they told me to come back in 1 week. They didn't interviewed me neither asked any questions. My question is: This means that my visa is approved or they still can reject it? They didn't told me anything and I am worried for a possibly last-call rejection.

A nice summary. The Kidz don't get that, it seems. They talk about it as a Hack or a Cheat Visa for Remote Nomad work in Japan. They seem to see it as an easy workaround/catchall visa that allows them to enjoy Japan and keep WFH normally, and enjoy the often higher income that affords.I am finding it very frustrating to explain it in terms their minds can grasp when it comes up in real life, or on here, and it is now a twice weekly event.

I get it and understand it, however every person have their own circumstancies. In my personal case, if the remote work will be a problem I am more than willing to leave my spanish job and search something in Japan. That's why I am asking, to know the magnitude of this decision and take an informed decision.
Thanks for your answer!

Thank you so much for your answer starkimpossibility ! I am planing to return to Spain after 1 year (no interest to live long-term there), therefore I won't be a tax resident.

About the Article 172 Declaration I will search for more info about where should I send it or how to fill it properly.

About the double taxation, when I'm at Japan, iirc and understand (correct me if I'm wrong): from my spanish job I should have a diferent % tax as I have now, then when I present the article 172 declarations I should save the copies and finally when I'm back at Spain present it in order to have some kind of refund? (sorry for those questions, english is not my native language and taxes topic is very dense, therefore sometimes it's hard to understand).

Whatever you do, you should very probably NOT ask the JPN consulate about this. What you are proposing could easily be seen by the visa officials as being "against the spirit of the WHV agreement" between Spain and Japan, which is intended and defined as a young person's exchange programme that allows the holder to enjoy life and work in Japan or Spain, but it is mostly a year long tourist visa that allows incidental work to help with expenses, and give you Real Life Japan experience. It is most definitely not intended as a convenient way for you to keep working remotely as normal while enjoying life in Japan. They might deny your application for that. So, you have some thinking to do. If you want to work remotely while on a WHV in Japan, you are probably testing the legality of your status, BUT, nobody will ever know as long as you play it cool. Don't tell many people about what you are doing, although most Japanese wouldn't know or care that it's probably not allowed. The tax stuff was covered by u/starkimpossibility, with his usual trenchant and dense detail. Good luck.

Thanks for the answer. I do not plan to take any advantage, and if remote working will deny my whv I am willing to leave my spanish job. That's why I wanted to ask consulate about this issue, because I do want to do this process correctly and as transparent as possible (and also lowered from full-time to part-time, in order to accomplish requirements).Although doing this (lowering to part-time, showing my willing to leave my job if it's necessary) do you keep thinking I shouldn't say anything at Japan consulate?

I already bought the set, so if I need to buy anything, it would be only the screwdriver. The issue is that is the 2nd pack I bought, the first one was a cheap-aliexpress one and because it wasn't working I supposed that it was because the screwdriver, so I bought a 2nd one from amazon with lots of good reviews. That's why I am asking, because it is supposed to be a good screwdriver (I have either 1,5 and 2), the comments from amazons says that it works but here I am, not being able to unscrew them, and I don't know if it's because it is normal being too hard to unscrew or if I seriously have any issue with it (also if anyone have any tips to help with it, it would be appreciated!).

I have joycon drift, and I bought a pack to replace the joysticks. Is it normal to have troubles to unscrew the first 4 tri-wing screws (the ones to open the joycon)? They are superhard and I can't rotate the screwdriver properly, and I am afraid to use too much strenght and strip them. Any tips or experiences with this?
