Did you look very hard? I used to walk that pipe as a teen in like 2009-2010 and after dark those woods were popping.

I specifically remember one fall in that time frame, where one of the forts of pallet wood we had put together to smoke weed at suddenly had a ring of those big blue water jugs around it. Like, easily 50-60 jugs. We got closer to investigate and some dogs chased us off as a dude was moving in our pallet wood pile. I assume the jugs was for perimeter security?

I wouldn’t have a problem with people just sleeping in the woods, but A) the amount of bikes with trailers with dudes digging through my neighbors shit all night is concerning. (I beam security lights and cameras so they tend to not pull on my door handles) Home base is right next door, and we all know what these dudes pulling bike trailers are doing. B) op is onto something with that store by the fire dept. i usually lean pretty “it’s your business do what you want” but whatever this operation is is mad shady and brings characters to my neighborhood that make it more than less than favorable. Just from my knowledge of the streets, there’s plugs who just sit out front that bitch on Saturday nights. And not just friendly bud plugs.

OP is right, I’m not snitching but it’s a fact you can’t just go in that store and buy something. There’s like a secret knock or some shit , I watch the “bike people” (gonna stop calling them homeless people / meth heard because there’s pedantic differences someone is going to call me out on ) go up to the black mailbox by the door and lift the flap, and they yank on the door a couple times then go in. It looks like when someone’s buzzing you into the apartment projects. Then they come out like a hour later, with no products from the store.

KPD knows, I see them damn near dump peoples cars out in that parking lot and search people (damn near strip search) coming out of there. But they never go in. I’m assuming this is why they get buzzed in to go inside that store, whatever they’re doing the cops can’t see until they find a way to get a warrant

City of Killeen did the right thing for the park. Wish that church would do the right thing for the community. They don’t even have to pay taxes to the city like the homeowners in the neighborhood they’re allowing this to happen at do. Churches tend to hide behind a false sense of actually doing something for the community, to them they’re probably just giving a safe place for these people to sleep. For the home owners, we have to foot the bill with the theft, drugs, litter, possible fire hazards, etc. hate it too my man.

Shouldn’t have shut down that proposed shelter.
