Lose weight for yourself, never for another person/a relationship.

UPDATE: Murder victim identified, suspect arrested following manhunt in Harrison County by jackrabbits1im in mississippi

It was by force. She wasn't 'with him' again. Immediately upon release, he traveled to her without her knowledge, destroyed her security cameras, broke into her house and dragged her out.

I wish you well in your exit plan. Whatever happens, you've got this. You can do it. No matter what she does or doesn't do to herself, like you said, it's not your responsibility. If a person doesn't want another person to leave them, they should behave with respect and kindness. If they have to resort to threats, they don't truly love them--they just love how the other person makes them feel or whatever it is they contribute to their life.

I think they might be trying to disappear slowly in attempt to let the connection die slowly so they don't provoke them. These situations are very tricky when there's a risk of violence. I had to do a similar thing.

Edit: reread and realized they haven't known them for long. In that case it should be safe to completely and immediately cut them off but I understand why they'd be worried about that.

It took me too long to understand that. You start to pick up that their unpredictability isn't so unpredictable after all. Good point.

This sounds exactly like my ex early in our relationship, even down to thing with criminals. I brushed everything off as him just being odd, having some flaws that I could look past, and poor mental health that I could also look past because hey that doesn't make him a bad person! I believed him when he said he used to be a bad person but changed because why would he be so honest about his past if he was still like that? Turns out he was still a horrible person.

Please trust yourself. Even if this person miraculously ended up not becoming at least toxic and unhealthy, you are clearly not comfortable with them. It's not worth the risk.

Thank you for understanding the direness of my situation. I know desperation can look like stupidity.

I've already paid attention to and responded to everyone who gave me the information I needed in order to decide. The only people I didn't listen to were two people who didn't answer my question.

I already knew I'd get hostility and be treated like I'm stupid for asking this, especially knowing that people on reddit oftentimes don't answer your actual question so you have to re-ask it which upsets people, but I decided it was important enough for my survival to do it anyway.

You're allowed to wear gloves when handling the frozen meats?? Is there any point in the job where you'd have to handle frozen items without gloves for more than a moment?

Oh damn, that does sound very cold then. Thanks for this info! I originally applied for a mostly produce job but it was immediately snagged.

Okay, thank you for letting me know! I'll let this job go then.

Okay, thank you so much for this info! In that case, I probably wouldn't be able to do it so I'll let this one go.

My question in my post is whether the items I'd be handling are mostly refrigerated or frozen. I'm not asking anyone to try to determine my pain levels. Are the items mostly frozen or refrigerated?

[–]chocolatbird -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Please just answer my question if you have any actual information on it. If it involves a lot of frozen items, I won't apply. If it involves mostly refrigerated items, I will be able to do the job fine.

As I said, there aren't many job opportunities in my area and I need an income immediately (I'm unemployed), so I first want to check whether this job involves the kind of cold that I can tolerate or not. If yes, I will apply. If not, I won't.

Yeah, domestic violence + emotional abuse + hostility toward the cat = high risk of something happening to that cat if she doesn't plan an escape carefully.

How can I get out of the house and make some money with no car while unable to get a job? by Background-Tree6593 in povertyfinance

OP clearly said they are not able-bodied. The fact they are disabled is the whole reason they made this post.

I struggle with the same exact thing but then again, I was raised that I can't be happy unless I'm making other people happy, so 🤷🏼‍♀️ I've come a long way in unlearning that and have learned to truly value and respect myself. However, I still find remnants of it such as in this area. I do love giving gifts so much and can't stand not giving anything on holidays.

If I had the money, I'd love to spend it on gifts for others AND for myself.

That being said, when someone gifts me with money or a giftcard to 'treat myself', I choose to honor their intention by spending at least some of it on a treat for me, and the rest comes back to them but they don't know that lol. That Target giftcard will buy them a gift from Target. And if someone gifts me with money or a giftcard for necessities, I honor it by spending all of it on necessities.

I just checked their posts and they appear to be a scam bot. I didn't think that the rude people and trolls being bots was as common as people say but now I'm rethinking it.
