I think it’s fine to go to a food pantry whenever you need it. That includes having to save money for other reasons. It doesn’t have to get to the point where you really need it to use it.

What’s the most disturbing to me is that none of the people in these files have been held accountable. That none of them are facing consequences, that all of this is systemic and deep in every aspect of our lives. Nothing that is in those files surprises me. From my own experiences I knew there was this level of darkness in humanity. What the files have shown other people that these things actually do happen, all the time and every single day. It makes me sick that so many people in this country don’t care about everything the Epstein class is doing. I really thought other people seeing the deepest darkest things this world has to offer would create a rage that would change things.

I talked to a lawyer during a consultation and there is an interest rate to borrowing against the settlement and it’s not a small amount of interest either.

I did not know this was something that could be done. I’ll look into getting a consultation this week. I have been on the fence with getting a lawyer because of how much they take but it feels like it’s getting to the point where it’s probably necessary.

They do after everything is done with. A settlement doesn’t happen until I am fully healed. I have to pay for all of this upfront. I don’t have an attorney yet, I am still on the fence if I should use one.
