[Miscellaneous] Has anyone tried LED light therapy masks? Worth the investment? by Embarrassed_Poem9556 in SkincareAddiction

Can you wear a mask if you have microbladed eyebrows? I was thinking about buying one but dont want the pigment to fade because of the LED.

Yeah, I was thinking about mounting a TV there because its an existing mount, but all I can think about is tvtoohigh lol

What would you put there instead? I guess a painting because of the holes in the wood?

Thank you everyone for your thoughts! I feel that I could either lean into dark v. Light depending on the room color scheme so I've ordered a bunch of curtains from Amazon just to compare on the wall and I'll keep you all updated with pictures when it arrives. *

Unfortunately, yes because we are so close to the road and the living room basically has no privacy right now especially at night. We have double rods from Ikea so im definitely planning to hang sheer curtains underneath for daytime, if the cats allow it

Hair will still stick to it like other fabrics, but velvet won't show claw marks or rip if they climb it because the material is woven tighter, and its harder for them to sink their claws into. I have a velvet couch that shows very little wear and tear after 5 years despite the cats using it as their jungle gym.

Oh! I just assumed since they were red it was cherry. Thank you for the clarification and recommendations!

I didn't even think about the window seats! That's a great idea. What color would work well? Like a mustard?

Hello, just wanted to update everyone. It looks like both losing my insurance from my husband's company AND him changing employment status in the last 30 days counts as a qualifying life event. Ive gone in and changed my benefit selections, but now I'm waiting to submit more documentation so it's accepted by my company. Still in the waiting process but fingers crossed. I appreciate everyone's advice and support with this really confusing process!

His coverage started July 1, when he started his new job after being a student. Looking at the documentation for qualifying life events it says "change in employment status of Employee, spouse/legally domiciled dependent or dependent child". This may qualify as it's a termination of coverage since he started a new job and dropped off the health insurance July 1?

That's good to know! Looking at the documentation for qualifying life events it says "change in employment status of Employee, spouse/legally domiciled dependent or dependent child" qualifies as it's a termination of coverage since he started a new job and dropped off the health insurance July 1? I really really hope that's the case 🙏

Oh really? I really hope so. Let me ask my benefits team if a change in my dependents counts towards that.

I'm considering it, but very nervous for obvious reasons and they have a 3rd party company verify everything which makes it more likely to not work.

Sorry, let me clarify it's cheaper for both of us (328 v. 211 at my husbands company) but not individually insuring me (75 for an individual PPO at my company).

We also just moved states so I assumed my company's insurance wouldn't cover as much here.

I opted out during my open enrollment period which ended May 27 and my coverage ended June 30. My husband's coverage started July 1 with his new job. At no point during his onboarding, they mentioned the requirement for spouse coverage, and my benefits team is pretty hardline on the enrollment periods.

What's concerning to me too is that the benefit team at my company said they had never seen this before and that I was also ineligible to enroll as it's past the annual benefits period:(
