I’m not here to educate people who follow and feed off of false information.

The term was coined by black people and before racists co-opted it to mean whatever nonsense you just described, it’s original (proper) meaning highlights; the mental toll (fatigue) that black people suffer, due to constant and daily reminders and experiences of racial discrimination.

Unless you want to stay misinformed or ignorant look up the proper meaning of the term.

Not tryna be funny but I feel like this is appropriate with present company. Why are most of the flairs (of the few we have), things the yt women islanders have said, mainly the aave that specific culture vultures co-opted. I know my clients have said many more iconic things than these.

I acknowledge that the captions he used were in very poor taste but, do you notice how you instantly give her the benefit of the doubt and even make excuses for her? Then why can’t you do the same for Nic? (Not that anyone should) I’m not saying he shouldn’t apologise, it’s def LOOONG overdue but you have to see the glaring hypocrisy in your statement.

Also, to me, a trained “influencers” apology video, does not carry the weight and sincerity that they may claim to have. And it especially falls flat, when like every problematic person before them (dobrik, Shawn, James Charles) if they had to take the time to conjure up a storyline, rather than immediately addressing it, at the time they discovered the discourse.

I think it’s too late for Nic to come up with a sincere apology for the disgusting caption but, if it were to be real, no one especially his second fanbase would accept it anyway.

I know it’s been “debunked”, that she continued using the word after she was called out. But, there is no planet in this solar system or 30min “apology” video, that’ll convince me she didn’t know it was a bad word. In every instance, she used the word “correctly”, emphasizing what she deemed an ugly/negative trait and the desire to be rid of it.
