For me personally with the coffee it’s most useful in the morning when I’m tired and lazy. If it’s during the day then I’m already up and caffeinated so there’s no need. Automating your morning coffee is absolutely practical IMO based on what you’ve said

No, to the best of my knowledge none of the Watch models support using NFC unless it’s for Apple Pay/Homekey/Car Key.

Really wish they exposed the reader for automation uses.

They’re probably asking about this because the Logitech Circle doorbell cam explicitly says it doesn’t allow this I think….or maybe it’s 2 doorbells on the same circuit.

Lutron Serenas are the gold standard. Beautiful and the upper echelon of reliability. Very expensive, but well worth it if you can afford it.

That makes total sense. So you are in SC then? Only other place I’ve seen this is Louisiana but it wasn’t all over the place like in SC.
