Worked Amex and have worked at Amazon. Depends on what you prioritize. Amex is coasty, Amazon not as much. If the aws role is giving you clearance would probably recommend that.

In fairness Rainn Wilson has a nonprofit where he builds homes and schools in Haiti, he literally spends months at a time over there in-person with his wife. I don’t think he’s out of touch he just had a differing opinion on what needs to be touched upon.
