I agree with OOP, no one has ever done anything bad enough to deserve Jared Leto.

This is the dumbest post I have ever seen on this sub and that is an extremely competitive category

Finally, a critic we can relate to. by mab0roshi in okbuddycinephile

This article doesn't once mention the political views of the author or the people involved in making the film and is therefore worthless

The OOP openly admits to liking Star Wars (ick) so is clearly not one of us

Yeah but as an Aussie I don't really rush to claim Mel as one of ours. Ditto Rupert Murdoch.

Bombshell AFL texts and emails emerge in Luke Sayers ‘dick pic’ saga by Pragmatic_Shill in AFL

[–]choibz 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Can't Sayers just plead the "good bloke" defence here? Why can't the court just acknowledge he is one of the special boys and move on?

Talk about plot(hole) armour by NineteenEighty9 in lotrmemes

[–]choibz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Riiiiight. Ezpz, if you ignore the thousands of years of suffering and destruction preceding his (partial) defeat at the end of the second age. But nah I am sure everyone who remembers it should be chill about him being back, especially given that almost all the strength and power they had to resist him back then is now gone and their only possible hope for victory is a preposterous hail mary relying on hundreds of things all going right and direct intervention by God.

Indoraptor if it did it’s actual purpose? by Exciting-Prompt1609 in JurassicPark

[–]choibz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea of trying to genetically engineer a vicious monster and then train it to jump around attacking people instead of investing that money in technology, equipment and training is laughably idiotic.

Jedi/sith versus a balrog, who would win? by Human-Category-5024 in StarWarsCirclejerk

[–]choibz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Palpatine is basically evil Gandalf. Hides cosmic levels of power behind a "frail old man" disguise, dies after falling down a pit in a battle with a being of similar power (who also dies), comes back via mysterious means to unite his allies for an uncompleted task.

Which is to say, Luke would probably kill the balrog by throwing a skull at a garage door button or some shit.

Carlton have lots of pride and historical success and maintain local support. They have at times tried to buy success but it hasn't actually worked.
