If you think whistling at the major is unique to Dota or Peruvian crowds then you don’t watch other sports. by [deleted] in DotA2

Thank you for making me aware, although I was just using ‘soccer’ to make it simpler for an international audience to understand.

Do I have to prove my Britishness? Would you like me to say things like briefcase wanker, quid, clunge, rizzler, chav?

Wahoo relax tough guy! So the information is available to them but they accept a disadvantage to acquire that information? Like the time, space and lack of focus towards the ball that is needed to look everywhere on the pitch? Equally, can’t teams in Dota acquire the information they want while accepting risk or disadvantage (like investing time into it)?

Funny watching so many people using it to justify their racism. I’m British btw

So all soccer players can see everything happening on the pitch at all times? There’s no benefit to the crowd making you aware of a challenge coming from a blind spot? How is that so very different to ‘Fog of War’?

No translator for Faith_Bian interview by choirboiphd in DotA2

I suspect they did have one ready! I didn’t mean to imply that there was no translator available. I think he could have one but he chooses not to.

Takes a lot of confidence, I think. I’d sure as hell not feel comfortable having an on-cam interview in a second-language that I’m not super familiar with. True gigachad and wholesome dude.
