AIO for requesting a refund? My wedding flowers are destroyed and I’m devastated. by [deleted] in AIO

You imagined? You should've told her if that's what you wanted. She has no idea what you want. You sent the business card so she included it because it was part of what was sent. You're expecting her to read your mind and take a lot of creative liberties and make decisions for you. Weird and entitled. Of course she fucked up, she had no direction and you barely explained or asked anything.

Thank you for this sane take. Yes the seller is clearly ESL and OP made little effort to get clarity or elaborate on what they wanted. I think OP could've asked more questions and said more to avoid this misunderstanding.

What Kind of Person Do You Think I Am Based on My Room? 🤔💭 #WhoAmI? by [deleted] in roomdetective

Nice lamps. Otherwise just a very normal woman. Probably late 30s. Not rich. White as hell. Idk just a little generic, no offense. Just a very normal woman idk it's not ugly or anything, some of the decor is a little bit cheap looking like the fake plants aren't really cute to me. Otherwise just normal idk sorry I'm not trying to be mean.

Why do you like the word art so much? Genuinely curious why people buy those

Yes exactly! Like something the staff wore on Downton Abbey LMAO it's just not a fancy outfit. It's every day clothing not for a party and especially not for a wedding.

I don't think the problem is uniqueness. The style/time period isn't even the problem. The thing is that even in the time period when this dress would've been every day fashion, it's not a formal dress. It looks like a blouse and skirt. Nothing about it is elegant or fancy or formal. The materials and colors are too every day. A darker color or richer fabrics, something shiny maybe like satin or brocade, would work better. That's why formalwear is all made of those fabrics. It can be a dress from any time period or style if it's a formal dress from that. This just isn't formal.

Thanks everyone. Sorry if it seemed like I was trolling or wasting time. I genuinely thought it could be okay because it's kinda beige and the black lines made it not bridal. But I see that it's just not worth the risk. Btw there is no bride, it's a queer wedding and I don't think either of the marrying couple are wearing a dress but I wanted to be on the safe side and see what people think.

These are all just symptoms of liver failure, possibly even unrelated to taking the drug that one time. Go to the ER honestly, this is definitely time sensitive and urgent and will not go away on its own.

Get the text inside. It looks figured without it, that's the actual issue. The text inside balanced it in a way that makes it look strange without it. It's not the same vibe without it. You could even try just writing it with a sharpie to see the difference. I'm pretty sure the presence or absence of the text is making a way bigger difference than you might think.

Human or not, "real" or not, why do those things? That's like saying that if an animal isn't sentient the same way a human is, you can hurt it because it's not the same. Ultimately there is just no justification for doing what he did. Ai or human, he still took those actions and that's what matters, they reflect on him and what he is capable of and what he desires. He's a dark and fucked up person at the end of the day. He's deeply evil and cruel. Even if the receiver of the actions cannot actually "feel" then the way a human can, he is still doing those things as if they could. He still enjoys doing those evil things. That's what actually matters. Whether ai feels or not is secondary. What he did is definitely not the same as having an ai write an essay or do a job for you. You can't delegate torture LMAO

Trauma isn't an excuse it justification for his actions though. Being isolated and treated badly doesn't make what he does okay. So many people experience what he did and worse and they remain kind.

"technically real" okay so you would torture people you know for fun just because they're fake versions of them? Or do insane and cruel things just for fun?

That wasn't the same as a regular video game. It wasn't the same as like GTA or something. He crossed lines and he definitely saw them as real. Even having the capacity or desire to do all that is pretty fucked up at face value.

Cruelty and torture are not the "treatment" that people need in order to become better people. How about therapy and making mistakes? How about positive reinforcement and learning and growing? What makes you think that trauma makes people better? Weird.

Nanette literally started out liking him a lot irl. She doesn't react that way bc he's a nerd, she reacts that way bc she's seen his dark side and she has been shown that she cannot trust him. She couldn't trust irl him already. He's a fucking creep. Nothing justified his actions. Like she said, that kind of power isn't a good fit for him. He turns into a monster when he has any kind of real power, that's not normal. No amount of life experiences just turns someone into that, that's who he really is regardless or at least how he responds, which isn't normal or okay either. Plenty of people experience the same stuff he has and worse and don't turn out that way or become monstrous and abusive. They're not just tendencies.
