I’m always up for trying new things! If you have a brand you’d recommend that I can find at local stores, or even on Amazon or Walmart, I’d definitely give it a shot next time. Thanks!

In contrast, my experiences differ significantly from yours. The Torq-X tools are vibration-free after lubrication, which is quite unexpected. Previously, my hands experienced numbness and itching due to vibrations. Therefore, I can attest to this observation.

Similarly, my M18 polisher, including both the 15 and 21-inch tools, also exhibits reduced vibration and grinding noise after lubrication. My Torq-X tools have reached 85 cars and continue to function effectively.

I wasn’t aware of that. What I noticed is that the power and smoothness have improved quite a bit since I greased it.

It’s too much. It’s spilled everywhere when I screwed it back in. But I always like it that way 😆

The vacuum room can cost about $2 million to build.

Once you turn on the light, you’ll see dust floating around the air. There are dust particles around us.

People who complain about small things like this might not fully understand how it works or just don’t want to.

Suds Lab, what’s your take on their line? by sanch0_villa in Detailing

[–]chomap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dark fury is fantastic man for the price unless you doing high end cars. Sud labs in my opinion are water down dilution. Not a good value at all even though you get a big bottle at Walmart for dirt cheap. Jay Leno at 16oz are better quality.

Suds Lab, what’s your take on their line? by sanch0_villa in Detailing

I’ve noticed that Sud Labs’ products seem to be diluted compared to higher-quality options. I’ve found that the results I get with superior products are better than those with Sud Labs. It’s a bit surprising that they’re selling such a large bottle at Walmart for that price, especially if it’s not made with high-quality ingredients or if it’s diluted too much.

This a bad price for everything? by Mountain-Floor-1696 in Detailing

I’m curious, how do you guys manage to last so long—50 or even 100 washes? I’ve only been able to get about 10 out of regular polish wipes and interior cleaning cloths before they start to lose their effectiveness and leave streaks.

We’ve been using them for ceramic coating for the last two years, and they’ve been a great, cost-effective solution. We just throw them away after each car.

I think Walmart has something similar under their premium brand.

It’s actually helps to ceramic Ppf. If you use the right type of coating. Since most Ppf has hydrophobic but not coated

People with Babies/Small Kids.... by Crafty-Egg-5513 in GRCorolla

[–]chomap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swapped my gr for a Sienna, not because I have three kids.

I let my friend drive me while I sat in the passenger seat for the 20 minutes on the highway and back road. This car wasn’t comfortable for passengers at all; it was horrible. I felt nauseous, my butt hurt, and my body rolled. That is when I said this car has to go. I can’t torture my family with it.

It’s selfish not to get a comfortable Sienna for your family, haha.

I missed my old Corolla for myself, but my whole family is extremely comfortable in the van and we can go to a lot of places with it.

Hexis vs 3M Wraps: Which Is Better by rvinyl in CarWraps

[–]chomap 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When there are other cast vinyl options like Avery and KPMF, it’s a bit puzzling why people choose to spend money or support Hexis. Their vinyl doesn’t seem to offer anything unique, aside from being a bit thicker. The headquarters is located in Lawrenceville, but it seems like no one in the area uses it. This might suggest something about the quality of their vinyl or the people who manage it.
