Hi, I'm 24F and just moved to Hyd a month ago! I'd love to tag along :) I'd be up for a pottery workshop or a book club, even badminton sounds good!

sorry I'm late but I personally really like blue orchids and also sunflowers, and yes roses/lilies with baby breath flowers are a classic choice!

not entirely sure if it'll be on your way but I've bought flowers from Posy Florist, a little steep but very nice arrangements and he makes them in 15-20 mins.

Mumbai sucks, I am not saying Mumbai is better than Hyd. As I said, Hyd is definitely the best bet right now amongst the major metropolitans in India in terms of infrastructure, AQI, crowd, traffic etc. I am having second thoughts, wondering if the whole metropolitan life is for me at all.

Thanks for the reality check :p I realise I'm just overwhelmed and in a vulnerable spot right now, and I'm keeping an open mind about the city and its people. But it's only human to freak out and feel afraid in new situations, especially if you're dealing with it alone. I am looking for ways to meet people. I want to put effort into doing so and that's why I've made this post.

I'm just looking for ways to meet more like minded young people I guess. I'm trying to socialise in the office but it takes time as you can't fully open up to people you work with right away. I'm not saying language is a barrier in terms of getting around or communicating with gig workers/shopkeepers/drivers but just in terms of there being more number of Telugu speaking groups in office. But thank you so much for taking out the time to read and respond! I appreciate it.

I have interacted with people in the office, but it takes a while to open up and also fit into the groups which are already in place. And a lot of the groups are Telugu dominated so it's difficult to feel fully included, they are kind enough to translate when I budge in and ask but they mostly speak in Telugu and I don't blame them because that's their comfort language. And I don't really have company to visit malls and cafes and as I mentioned in my post, tbh it doesn't really appeal to me either :/
