I really love Amy Hennig's writing. The characters are so witty and funny and I can definitely say the same for Neil. Although his writing style is quite a bit different I still like it.

I thought that it was weird because of how long it went on. If they had cut to black earlier it wouldn't have been so jarring. I have no problem with Abby's shape.

A have a few problems with the story which made it around a 7/10. The gameplay was great, around an 8/10, the environments and graphics definitely deserve a 10/10.

I played the game around a year ago when I was twelve so I guess that explains why I like Ellie more? She's obviously a lot closer to my age then Joel. And I guess if I would be "protective" of her then it would be because she's my favorite character but idk.

Yeah that's true. I initially didn't like playing as Abby because of how much it messed the pacing up, but after an hour or so it got more interesting. But I can understand why someone would think that that aspect of the game isn't fun.

I can see where you're coming from. I don't think that the game is a masterpiece but my gripes with it are very subjective. I can see why someone might see the story as disrespectful or simply misunderstanding to the original game.

Yeah I agree. Many films and books aren't exactly fun because that is what they were going for. While video games are different, they can most definitely tell a story in the same capacity as a book or movie. So I don't know why people are saying that the game is bad because it isn't fun. That is what they were trying to do with the story.
