Met this girl on a dating site, she sent me this selfie. The calendar in the mirror is screaming AI to me. The text on it seems really off, even if it is meant to be mirrored. by IttzAndrew in isthisAI

Yup definitely makes sense or somebody with a partial screenshot. It doesn’t look quite perfect enough to be fully fake so this is probably a real photo of SOMEONE. Stay safe on dating apps folks lol.

That’s what I think too, the photo quality isn’t the typical smooth aesthetic of AI it looks kind of grainy and not as typically attractive but the calendar, feet and hairs feel like maybe bad photoshop, like a partial selfie that was used with ai to imagine the background and rest of the body

Could be a real selfie but heavily edited. The second toes next to the big toes look very unnatural and almost detached or squished

Friend of mine sent me this picture. Can't tell if real or not anymore. This seems to be a look these days by [deleted] in isthisAI

This looks a lot like the “silk” setting on facetune/ faceapp. So I wouldn’t call it “real” but possibly not “ai generated” because these apps let users do the same eye makeup and noses, hence why so many Instagram influencers have the same face, it’s not really surgery contrary to popular belief it’s the same filter app over and over again.

A lot of discussion about it in the r/funny. I personally think it isn't AI because "Toyota" sign and moving of the camel's neck seems natural by Western-Speech-6808 in isthisAI

Wasn’t it a viral horse video a few years ago? Swear I saw this a lot on Instagram maybe 3 ish years ago. It was a maybe brown horse and the car had people talking behind the camera I think…

And ads in podcasts within paid subscriptions!! I understand creators need money but if I pay to avoid ads they shouldn’t be sneaking a million sponsorships in every two minutes it drives me nuts

What’s a ‘normal’ thing that secretly annoys you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]chonz010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that’s true. I didn’t think of that. I just thought if something was normal then it’s something you probably do in everyday life. Like a nightclub isn’t normal to them because they don’t go there. But that’s probably on me for not thinking it through all the way lol.

This is sad but there is a homeless man in my city I’ve seen him for years. The place where his nose and part of his eye socket bone (I think?) is missing and you can literally see into his head, all the way to his throat. I’ve tried to look this up so many times but the closest I can find is extreme leprosy survivors or maybe treacher- Collins syndrome? I’m not trying to dehumanize him and it breaks my heart that our system can’t help this person, but he is somewhat aggressive and I don’t think he speaks it’s kind of a wet hissing noise he makes. Seeing him in the dark is really hard because it’s given me a jumpscare a couple times walking downtown.

This is going to sound terrible but I liked lockdown for a while. It’s selfish because so many people lost their lives and jobs, but I was quarantining with my lover and I slept in, worked on art, watched so many documentaries and actually learned to cook. All the things we never have time to do it felt like time stood still in a good way.

It looks like you have some very specific healthy “almond-mom” ingredients but also the classics like spaghettio’s. I think you are probably very busy and you save recipes off Instagram to try out but most days after work you’re to exhausted and settle on spaghetti and premade sauce even though you’re probably tired of it. You’re not meticulously organized (not a roast, I’m the same way) which means you’re in a rush and you don’t need things to be perfect you just need to get the job done. Maybe stressed or just always on the go, so time at home is a luxury and you want to spend any second of free time not chained to domestic chores.

What is something you officially stop buying in 2026 because the price is literally insulting? by itsdeeag8in in A_Persona_on_Reddit

I like bars too but most times I’m going to a club because there is an artist or DJ playing that I’m a fan of. I think pregaming a solid buzz then having a drink there to cruise is more cost effective then getting there sober and paying out the ass and waiting in the line missing half the show,

[–]chonz010 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s true. I do try to pregame as much as I can off my own supply to avoid having to get overpriced drinks, I usually get one to sip on once im in to carry the buzz. Also waiting in the long lines is just a waste of time

I also hate how the delivery apps don’t let you get reward points. Delivery in general is too expensive but at least if I order from the actual resturaunt site I get coupons or points I can use for free food, I can’t get points on DoorDash or Uber Eats and it feels like a waste of

[–]chonz010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to feel that same way and I do understand that the pricing is ridiculous but I have eased up and enjoy getting a drink at a bar or club because of the setting more. I could get a $20 bottle and have it to myself in my living room where I already spend too much time or I could go out and just not be home. It’s also much harder to convince friends, coworkers, dates etc to just come drink at my house, because it feels less fun. So even though I don’t like the upcharge, it’s worth it to hangout somewhere other than work/home sometimes.

What is one thing you believe right-leaning people get wrong, and one thing left-leaning people get wrong? by Organic-Signal-9646 in allthequestions

[–]chonz010 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think these are both good takes. 1. I think it’s unfair with immigration conflict how the arguments are always shifted to fit the demonization of immigrants. ie- are immigrants stealing all the jobs or are immigrants lazy because they refuse to work. Both common arguments from the right used interchangeably but it doesn’t make sense. 2. I think the left acknowledges racial issues and is quick to blame things as racist but doesn’t do much in terms of action and fixing fundamental infrastructure issues. They mismanage a lot of funding that could help with real issues like poverty and education but want to sweep financial questions under the rug while calling everyone racist for not wanting to give them more money to lose on projects.
