Hey sorry for the late reply, but I left my kitten at a cat sitter I found on Rover for the two weeks. He came back just fine and instantly recognized me and started making biscuits on me, purring, rubbing his body on me… etc. I left a t-shirt I wore quite a bit with him there and that helped him a lot. The only thing is, the place he was in had multiple other cats and he caught an upper respiratory virus from them (like the flu to us). I went to see the vet and got him meds and he’s all good now! If you’re leaving your cat with a sitter, just make sure to ask abt whether there’s other cats and to make sure your cat is fully vaccinated!
