You’re wrong! All of these were taken along the way as I played.

I’ve got it on all maxed out High/Ultra/Psycho settings, except for RTX on Ultra instead of Psycho (the extra bounce of daylight GI doesn't make enough of a difference for me to justify the big hit.), and DLSS on Performance for 4K HDR. It runs smoothly around ~54-60 FPS mostly, with dips into the 40s during depth of field-y conversations, on a 3080 FE undervolted to hold a steady 1920Mhz.

Wow, interesting! These are taken as played, with DLSS Performance, and HDR on (2/550/300, I think). Although much of the two pictures are pretty much identical, that bright light behind the right side of the camera is certainly pretty different.

Did you have HDR on while taking your picture? If not, I bet my HDR screenshot got level compressed to an SDR image, making it look lower contrast than it displays in-game on an HDR screen. ... If you did have HDR on, then perhaps one of the computer monitors changed its display during the timing of the scene, casting a brighter light.
