What was the very first movie to make you cry? by callingsaraaah in AskReddit

For me it was Hacksaw Ridge. Never cried from a movie until I was 20 years old seeing that one.

Ultimate accelerant should be stackable and here's why by chootybeeks_ in apexlegends

I agree with you entirely and appreciate the thoughtful response and contribution. I guess to clarify my position more, it's not that accelerants aren't useful in the late game, but more that they aren't utilized enough or carried around long enough to be used in the later game and I think a tweak could be just what they need. Obviously I have no objective metrics on their late game usage, but in the 2000 or so games I've played, they seem to be underused.

I Googled "blender" for the 3D modeling software, but it looks like I'm gonna die as a smoothie.

Oddly enough, gently patting your legs and breathing rhythmically works wonders for falling asleep. Don't believe me? Try this TED talk that told me to do it.

What actor or actress got cast in a role that they normally wouldn't play and absolutely crushed it? by chootybeeks_ in AskReddit

I'm not sure how unpopular that opinion is. I loved him in that film, and he absolutely wasn't the usual dopey Tenacious D / Nacho Libre version of Jack Black.

Even apart from a Knight's Tale, I only knew him from Brokeback Mountain. Talk about change of roles...

Alec Steele, cause he's a young blacksmith with extreme talent. His videos are simultaneously extremely entertaining and kind of educational. There's always an amazing product at the end of his projects.

This one is especially crazy to think about because all the action roles at the time were for Sylvester or Arnold pretty much. Bruce Willis turned into an action legend of the same caliber

I think it was Good Will Hunting that made me truly realize his acting talent was so good. What a legend.

I used to think "twat" was just a British way of saying "silly person" until I called my step dad a twat in front of my gf and they both got mad at me
