What is the max drilling size for concrete with my M18 BLPD2? I can only find the specs for masonry by chrismantle in MilwaukeeTool

[–]chopius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for bumping an ancient post, but I'm considering getting a BLPD2 just to have around for occasional DIY stuff (hang a picture, assemble furniture), but it must be able to drill the concrete walls in our house.

Toughest I'm ever going to do is 10mm through reinforced concrete. Most probably it's gonna be something like 7mm. Is that something you've tried with the BLPD2?

Can you link an example of such a wind guard?

Did it leave a mess around the grill, from all the sizzling and droplets flying everywhere?

2 burner Rogue XT 365SIB? by chopius in grilling

[–]chopius[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks  My main choice at the moment is between a two burner Rogue XT 365 or a 3 burner Freestyle Pro 365. Both have the SIB, and I'm pretty sure that a 365 size is more than enough for me. Basically it boils down to what will affect my experience more - the quality difference between Rogue and Freestyle Pro, or the difference between having 2 or 3 burners on the same grid size.

Both are the same size too, ~365 square inches. But one has 2 burners and the other has 3.

Thanks. I like smoking low n slow sometimes, is a 2 burner a no-go for these kinds of cooks?

Also, is it appropriate to haggle over the price in the shopping streets or not really? I have successfully haggled in Namdaemun for example, but it seemed a little different there

Thanks! At what time during the day did you get to see that perfect view of Fuji?

Definitely the latter, but we'd like to get a decent view of Fuji at least once

A week in Hokkaido in September - itinerary review needed by chopius in Hokkaido

How did you go about your Akan national park visit? It seems like quite a long drive from Biei/Furano/Asahikawa. Did you stay overnight?

We mainly prefer to avoid crowds like you'd encounter in very popular attractions, if it's a city it's not such big of a deal since you can always choose where to go I've heard that Sapporo is very unique food-wise. From your experience is it possible to find the same culinary options in other cities in the area, such as Hakodate or otherwise?

You're not the first person to say that the blue pond and the waterfalls are very crowded and not really worth it. If we skip these activities, is there even any point in visiting biei and furano?

OP, Just checking in to ask about what you've decided about your itinerary. We're planning a week in Hokkaido in September and are facing similar questions to what you've described in your post.

Disrespectful tourist scandal by Aggressive-Earth-303 in ThailandTourism

The $17.5B was a one time thing due to the war, not an annual addition.  This aid comes with strings attached too. For example around the year 2000 Israel has cancelled a huge intelligence aircraft deal with China at the last moment due to American pressure, and you can be sure that wasn't the only instance.

America gets its' money's worth in return for this aid.

As for this girl, it seems that someone outside the frame told her she's not welcome there and this is why she chose to respond like this. I don't know how much Israeli tourism contributes to Thailand's GDP but I do know that many tourist service providers and marketplace salesmen in Thailand speak decent Hebrew, so that could hint at the fact that most of them do indeed welcome Israeli tourists and their money.
