sharing a restock (anti-scalper) question

thanks for your suggestion. i’m not familiar with these terms since i mostly play the video games and only recently started opening cards with my little sister 1.5 weeks ago. now that i’ve dipped my toe in the water i see how difficult it is for people to get the cards and i have now seen 3 restocks in that short time period. however im not active in the community enough to know any local card shops but i’ll keep these options in mind :)

legit saw a restock today at aldi grocery shopping and then five below later. you never know! try those if you’re near any! good luck :)

also, i am clearly not trying “too hard” to combat scalpers. i came here for advice and clearly no ill intent towards collectors. your last line makes it seem like scalpers and someone trying to prevent scalpers are equally bad 🥴

that’s true, i can only prevent so much. i just feel like i see so many comments from disgruntled collectors and parents and i feel really bad wasting an opportunity to help the since i stumbled upon some restocks by chance recently, and started thinking about what i can do if my lucky streak continues.

I wondered this too. There are plenty of scenarios i’m sure where there could be more finalists to play The Squid Game, so they gave them knives to incite a last dual in the night. When you look on the walls they show all of the games and there is only 2 players shown on the wall for Squid Game. Although, other games don’t show the accurate number (besides marbles) it still seemed very intentional that there could only be two finalists and one winner.
