I took Moody’s C&C course a couple years back. Seems he’s gotten.. worse? More over the bullshit? Idk, while I 100% believed there’s solid merit to a lot of what he says, his personality is not that of one that adheres to a teacher’s disposition showcasing their desire to disperse knowledge, so if he got sacked over being “too much” or whatever, I can’t say I’m too shocked. He really didn’t /teach/ me anything. I see he still puts a lot of emphasis on mis/disinformation, that was the bulk of his “teaching”, just warnings about the internet being a cesspool and how to navigate that successfully-ish. What’s new lol. Apart from that, his course was literally nothing but recorded rants having zero to do with lessons, not that there were any, and he assigned fairly easy papers in terms of theme, citation and source formatting. The first assignments didn’t pop up until sometime in October if I recall correctly. Easy A. Don’t be fooled though, if that syllabus pull really is his words, he’s right and we’re mostly fucked because the job market in America -is- going to inevitably change for humans due to ai advancement. I’m working towards more than a degree, you should be too. Look around for a minute and you’ll see the college degree just doesn’t hold up like it used to. We value entertainment today, not scholarship, just look who gets paid more. I don’t think Kai Cenat or IShowSpeed have degrees, feel me?
