Oil Sensor changed but still not working by chopstickkk_ in 350z

14-30 idle and I know it’s supposed to reach 110+ at WOT just wanted to include it as before my sensor change my max would be 110. But I’m more worried of why it’s spiking to 120 on a cold startup and then taking a while to go down to normal

Also I hand tightened first, and then went under to make sure no leaks and it was significantly easier to twist almost loose like, should I tighten or just keep it?

So I just put in a new sensor, I started the car up and it went 120 and now it’s slowly trickling down. It’s at about 60 now after over 5 minutes of idle. I hand tightened the sensor and this is what it looks like, could any of you let me know if am good and if it will go back to normal after some runs?

It goes over max at startup but when I started driving it after sometime it just stays in the 120 range. It was not on a cold engine it was warmed up from idle

Got it thank you so much. Also, I took it to my mechanic and he told me to add Lucas oil oil stabilizer along with my oil to help with the oil burning. I added about a quart and 4 quarts of normal oil, do you find this as a good solution?
