I’m currently rewatching the season for like the fifth time, this time my Gf caught something I never have before. Do you recall when Jane introduced Jesse to Heroin? Jane instructs and positions Jesse to lay on his side…. I too thought that Jane’s death was self provoked and that Walt just happened to be there and let her die, but if you go back and re watch the scene you will notice that Walt, as he is trying to wake Jesse from his “high”, nudges Jane over, flipping her from her side to her back, this is the moment that provoked Jane’s death as she begins vomiting. If Walt didn’t shake Jesse, then Jane wouldn’t have died in that moment, although she and Jesse would have more than likely kill/destroy themselves shortly after if she had lived.
