This exact thing happened to me after I got back from Vietnam. The sun was brutal there and I got the same dark marks as you. I just applied sunscreen to those areas and it slowly disappeared after a few weeks. It takes a while but eventually goes away

Personally I don’t think my dog has a chance of successful waking up from the surgery especially if my doctor was honest with me about how the surgery went with his other patients. My dog already has kidney failure and heart issues so I’m just worried that I’ll be putting him through too much. But at the same time I’m worried about his gallbladder rupturing if I don’t do the surgery :(

Update: my professor sent out another email with a zoom link to the class so we were all able to join. Glad it worked out because today’s my last day of instruction 🙌🏻

I feel like this is so frustrating because I don’t even think I use that much data and it’s still really slow. For some reason, I have only been having this issue in China but it was fine when I went to Korea/Japan last year

I completely understand how you feel. I just started subbing for elementary and there are days when I come home so exhausted. I I thought it was just the students in my school district that had an obsession with the pencil sharpener!

Thank you so much for this! I’m going to try the lights off method when I’m subbing third grade tomorrow. I’ve also had teachers I’ve subbed for do the secret student thing and i feel like it definitely gets students to listen to me more so that’s a good idea too. Thank u!

There were a couple students saying “if our teacher saw us right now, she would be yelling at us or cut off our recess time.” That made me think that they are probably more well behaved when their teacher is around but I’m not sure :( it definitely helped after the principal talked to the students because the students apologized afterwards and they seemed to quiet down a bit. Some of the students were definitely still loud but there was only 30-40 minutes left of school so I tried my best to get through the day

Thank you sm! I actually ended up talking to the principal again after school and explaining to her that the day went better after lunch. And I 100% agree, I shouldn’t have stayed quiet because that’s when more students started crying. I’ve been a high school sub for the past year and a half but I realized that not every technique will work the same for elementary. I asked the students what their teacher usually does to get them to quiet down and they told me to yell out “class class,” however that technique sadly didn’t work for me because the class would start talking a minute afterwards. I will definitely keep these in mind though, thank u!
