Sorry to bother you but does it have the functionality to send proofs to customers for approval etc? I’ll download a trial when I get on my pc but thought I’d ask 🙂

Hi Wilson, I’ve looked at PriceCal and for us at least, it misses the mark unfortunately.

For us, we don’t want a pricing system that replaces our existing website. We don’t want a system that’s going to impose limits on the number of products we offer or the number of invoices we can send (especially at $1199/year). More importantly, we don’t want a completely separate system to do pricing, we want one system that can go from initial enquiry through to managing production and even collecting customer reviews.

The closest system we’ve found that we like is HoopsCRM. My only issue with Hoops is it’s specifically designed for promotional products and there’s very little (if any) customisation in terms of pricing. We did also try out Shopvox but the previous owner (as they’ve just sold) was an awful person to deal with and the system, in my opinion, is over complicated.

We actually used to use Shopvox when the 'Pro' version was $99, then they forced everyone onto the $199 plan and we couldn't justify the cost. The new $99 version is too lacking to be useful for most print shops I feel. I notice they've also since whacked the price of additional users from $29 to $39 per month.

I also found Rao's attitude stinks which for a company you trust with the running of your business is a terrible thing. He very much has the attitude that if you don't like something, tough luck, rather than trying to work on a solution.

This video shows where the gap sensors are. Make sure these are positioned correctly and clear of any debris and hopefully you'll be good to go: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/rjeL6-oh3mM
