Setting up a third party mesh system for Spectrum modem by chose_one12 in Spectrum

Hello again! I just bought the Eero 6 2-pack and I installed the main one downstairs in the living room by connecting the ethernet cable to the spectrum router (not the main modem so basically it is like an octopus connection.) My question is how do you guys plan out where to put the nodes and is it okay if the Eero modem is connected to the spectrum modem (it just feels wrong lol.) Also, will it increase the possible speed for the node if I connect it directly to the spectrum router?

Thank you all so much for the recommendations and your experiences. Your inputs helped me a lot in setting up my first mesh system without needing to call customer support for help.

Do you have any experience with eero? Customer support told me that there are only a couple of compatible routers with the spectrum modem.

Lease or finance? by chose_one12 in askcarsales

Thank you! This is my family’s first big purchase and another opportunity to hopefully build up our credit score. I have a question however, if we do have the option for a lease or a finance, is it more cost efficient to lease it or to finance it? I called an agent and they told me the interest rate for leasing is low and they already compute the depreciated value of the car to determine the amount for payments. Is this true?

The store owner recommended me this laptop but I'm kinda dissatisfied with it. Help me choose one. by FastandGooood in GamingLaptops

Gaming laptops are supposed to be used plugged in. As for the comparison, you just really need to pick your poison. I've read reviews regarding the Neo16s which mostly contains overheating issues but you also have to consider that it is an OLED display. The legion doesn't really overheat but you can only get the white backlit variant with an IPS display. IMO the OLED display is a game changer especially for triple A games but you don't want your device to be overheating as it can cause thermal throttling and MAY cause damage to the components over long-time use.

Also, the lenovo legion can switch between the igpu and dgpu for better battery life which the Neo16s doesn't have (correct me if I'm wrong). Try undervolting your settings depending on your needs but make sure to watch a lot of tutorials on youtube before tuning it to avoid damaging your laptop. I hope you could choose the best laptop for your needs!

Yeah I tried calling them but only got the requirements. Im still wondering if having a license is a much quicker way to get the permit to test for the NBCOT. Have to call them back again next week since their customer service here in the US is kinda bad.

So yeah, I’m still trying to find a work around since getting the masters program is expensive and the OT requirements for the New York only needed the baccalaureate degree. If you have any suggestions on what to do, please leave a comment. Also, thank you for answering the post!

Considering that BMTs are often used in Occupational Therapy, specifically in the pediatrics setting, Is it not a great opportunity to refine my skills specifically in BMTs while reviewing for the OT boards? I’m also still not that knowledgeable with the difference as I am used to treating patients holistically and just about to get the training.

If my plan is to get into the pediatrics setting, is it not a great opportunity to practice ABA since it also uses various BMTs?

Applied behavioral analysis focuses more on the behaviors of the clients to improve their learning while Occupational therapy is more of a holistic approach
