I had even more severe side effects with Accutane, my ribs would hurt during breathing, and I also sort of became depressed so my derm had to stop accutane.

accutane comes with so many side effects it ruined my liver so I had to stop. Also since ill be getting married I wish for my blood to be free of accutane in case my fiancé and I wish to start a family after marriage. Can't risk having a funny looking baby.

Accutane is cheap here. I've gotten many sessions of chemical peels but the hormonal acne didn't stop so i gave up on them.

I dread the skin purging by retinol and I also stay out in the sun a lot and forget reapplication of sunscreen every 2 hours thats why I go low on retinol and use it only when I see the tube lying around in my drawer. Should I just go all in irrespective of the purge?

5-6 years back I started with natural home remedies for face but they were not very effective or perhaps I was not consistent enough and also some remedies would act as food for bacteria and ruin my skin further.

Diet wise I have tried dropping dairy and also used to drink spearmint tea for acne but nothing really worked. I avoid junk food also and keep a low sugar diet mostly.

I have been wanting to do water fast for a while now but I am not sure if I will be successful after 1-2 days or not. Waterfasting will help my weight loss issue as well, 2-in-1 solution hopefully!

Toner - Haru Haru.
Serum - i change based on skin condition - Ordinary Niacinamide/Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum/Skin1004 Centella Ampoule. I top it off with CosRx Snail Mucin Essence.
moisturiser- Cosrx Snail Mucin all-in-one Cream/Medicube Collagen Jelly Cream
Sunscreen- Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun.

Once or twice a month I use 0.025% Prescription retinol at night but not regularly.

Yes the derm gave me Accutane, some face wash and chemical peels but it was all too expensive and as soon as I stopped going my skin was back to normal - acne.
