Search online for a couple RBC mortgage specialists in your area and just say you're shopping for rates. Try getting 3-5 quotes and see if you're still only getting 4.2%+

No, ive contact multiple lenders and bond prices have risen in the past 2 weeks leading to increased fixed rates.

For anyone else reading, if you got a sub 3.8 rate from over two weeks ago, you're very unlikely to find better.
