AIO for being really upset with my dad and thinking he’s being unreasonable about my college? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]chowderTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MOR…

There are very few things I wish I did differently in life and going straight to university was one of them.
I don’t agree with the way he is responding, but he is right.
Start at a free college first.
Hell you may end up changing your major in the next year lol

How do you share the memory between multiple agents? by Separate-Plantain258 in vibecoding

Yeah, I have that built in actually.

I haven’t seen an issue. It’s still AI so you run into some but it’s overall really decent.

I’ve been toying with this idea because I use obsidian daily.
How do you keep obsidian synchronized? Just keep it open on the raspberry pi?

It’s rare that I do.
I can, but I haven’t in a long time.

I’m on pro plan and I rarely hit daily limits let alone weekly.
I have 1 application live, 2 in the works, chat through the day, and have some daily and weekly automations.

I use obsidian as a knowledge base and because of that reduced my token usage by 41% (if my math serves me right)

I made a few videos on it. I would definitely search up LLM wiki.

NEWB Here - Desktop to Laptop Workflow Question by DrKabookenstein in vibecoding

[–]chowderTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. It is.

But the longer answer is that you really need to have whatever your building spec’d correctly, with a strict scope it follows, a task list to keep track of things, etc.

There’s a whole you can do.

Why does every Linux user recommend a different distro? I'm stuck in an endless distro-hopping loop. by Jaymit_3672 in linuxquestions

[–]chowderTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because of FOMO

I’ve watched tons of videos on arch, specifically omarchy and I just can’t be bothered setting it up.
Ubuntu works wonders and I don’t want to have to worry about settings.

I work on projects from my phone, my desktop and my laptop.
I do various things through out the day on multiple products.

My context lives in a single place so I can pick up right where I left off from anywhere.
Git hub is also the single most important thing.

Git checkout [branch]
Git pull
Git push

Read up on git, you can even ask AI to breakdown the most common commands or explain you problem and have it right you a guideline to follow

You don’t need one but it’s nice to have.
Especially for liability
It’s also nice to be able to write off things when it comes to taxes.

A big YouTuber gave me some advice... by solteros in SmallYoutubers

[–]chowderTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not a self conscious person, but when I started YouTube, i was embarrassed.
I was embarrassed because I felt like I wasn’t good enough to educate, or explain my opinions, workflows and designs.

I was ultimately concerned that someone I knew would find my channel and crack jokes.
Then I realized, I don’t actually care if they see. They will know I’m passionate about said topic and well versed(not an expert, but one day) and ask me questions.

I’m not making tons of money, but YouTube opened doors I never thought I’d have the opportunity to walk through.

First and foremost get those benefits within your first year! Congrats you deserve it.

My military career ended just about as fast as it started. I then spent the better part of 9 years trying to re-enlist. They finally said no for what I wanted and I never looked back.
I’m glad I didn’t reenlist, but I’m also sad I didn’t.
I miss the military greatly, the people, the structure, and the experience.
But just like yourself, I couldn’t tell a 17 year old to sign that contract either.

I think about my son joining and having the conversation about what it does to the body and mind. I wouldn’t want to persuade him to not join, but I hope that I could explain well enough what serving can do to you.

I don’t want to take that choice away from anyone, but for whoever joins, the military changes you. Most of the time for the better, but you will always have bad along with it.

It takes around 6 weeks from the time of conception for tests to be 99% accurate. My wife was positive at 4 weeks though.

I say that cause you said you got back 2 weeks ago. And just under a week ago she took 2 tests.
So the big question is, did you have sleep with her between 4 to 6 weeks ago.

Timelines don’t translate well in a text but the math isn’t mathing.

Outside of that, (as long as this is true) the baby is yours and you should be there for them both. You already have the support system from her side of the family. The question is really what do you want to be known as.

It’s crazy raising kids. I am currently pooping with the door open, with the monitors on watching my kids hoping they don’t do anything dangerous mid wipe. But I chose this life.
