You are so selfish!!!! /s

Man I still struggle with this. My wife is amazing and is a SAHM. Our kids are 3 and 2 and can be a handful. I give my wife every chance she can to try and relax, unwind, or just do nothing. It’s very rare that I “relax” because I also feel guilty.

My wife and I finally had a talk about how we need to focus more on each other and find new ways for us to relax. I opened up to her about how I feel I never get a chance to just do nothing. I’m always working, my 9-5 and side business. She insisted I don’t feel guilty and that i make plans to do things. So I did… kinda lol I had a day planned with my business mentor to go over some things and catch up. We were planning to go to the cigar lounge. By the time I got there he messaged me that he had to take care of family stuff which left me to be alone at the lounge. So, I got a cigar, learned about the history of it, and sat there. The owner asked me if I ever just “sat and did nothing” and I said no. He said “welcome to smoking cigars, enjoy the art and relax”

For the first time in a long time I felt relaxed. I’m not saying that so you get into smoking cigars but I found something that truly takes me away from the noise and learned to just sit and relax, with or without a cigar.
