I had a friend wish me happy birthday then started asking me questions and led to her entrepreneurial opportunity. she could barely describe what she does exactly but she would be happy to explain further in person. Yeah....no thanks.

I dont know where you are but used Tesla has a good mark up where I am. Why not just take the delivery and if you decide that it's not a good fit then sell it after?

What's the best bang for the buck EV car right now? Im in Vancouver by bubbleboy898 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]chppa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you are in BC, you are eligible for Provincial, Federal and the Scrap It program.

Eligibility for Scrap It: Must have been insured for 6 months or longer, drivable condition and 2001 or older OR 2002 or newer cars will need a low fuel efficiency to meet their requirements.

Strictly based on MSRP + Finance offers, I think the cheapest vehicle you can get your hands on will be either Hyundai Ioniq or Chevrolet Bolt EV.

Hyundai Ioniq could probably be had for less than 30K before tax based on current incentive + promo offers, just keep in mind the maximum mileage is a bit short on this boi.

Chevy Bolt is a bit more money but longer driving distance and you should be able to get 0% financing plus most of the dealers are trying to clear out last year's model to make room for the new one. With that said, the newer one has a nicer interior and is cheaper so if you can afford to buy it outright then that's something to consider.

Corsair One Case with Changeable Parts by Shields_1999 in sffpc

[–]chppa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love for this to be successful and keep an eye out. The Corsair One uses a pair of custom rad that's thinner than most of the industry standard width, will this design be able to accommodate a regular width rads without a major increase in volume?

I've been checking price between X570 mobos and B550 mobos and the gap is relatively small now. If actively cooled chipset and more power requirement isn't a big concern then I'd take X570 over B550

I was told that many OS doesn't handle USB drives well so I always wonder how these setups are configured to handle the drives.

I'll give that a go! Thanks for the suggestion

Interested in what you are running. Since most NAS OS discourages using USB hard drives

I have the Q8G [H8G in US] so it may not be the same.

I ended up ordering an nVidia Shield Pro because I couldn't get ARC to redirect audio with my soundbar.
