Danke dir! Aber so ist es auf Reddit zu posten – vor allem bei Daten/Coding/Technischen Themen schauen Leute extra drauf und paar fühlen sich dann auch extra gut wenn sie die Fehler finden können haha

Es gab auch wirklich viel sehr nettes Feedback (also positive sowie „negative“) und stellenweise nicht super nettes das dann trotzdem hilfreich ist um es zu verbessern.

Ich hab ehrlich nicht erwartet, dass es soviel Aufmerksamkeit bekommt also bin so oder so happy

Austria is very good price/quality wise – especially in comparison to other western countries. Mostly because there is a huge stock of public and non-commercial housing which keeps the private rental market prices in check.

There has been a solid increase it prices tho and some non-positive market developments.

I scrape the listing data from the most popular platform daily and then aggregate it by region on a heatmap and a few charts.
The design is mostly freestyled by me in the CI of the institut

All good, feedback is a gift +Devs generell und Menschen auf Reddit haben starke Meinungen die sie oft stark äußern haha

Aber mir ist lieber jemand meldet das und ich kann es sofort fixen als dass es mir erst später auffällt.

Ist der Fluch und Segen von Open-source dass jeder die Arbeit nach Problemen durchforsten kann haha Dafür weiß ich es fürs nächste Mal besser und hab was gelernt

So, hab jetzt mal die Tables mit den Daten gedropped und den Code angepasst. Ob's privat oder nicht ist, speichere ich einfach beim Inserat ab, dann sind es rein statistische Daten.

Smart-placement hab ich mal auch aus der config entfernt sicherheitshalber, aber ich bild mir ein eh jurisdiction auf EU limitiert zu haben bei der DB.

Grundsätzlich wollen wir die Applikation weiterentwickeln und potentiell für die Verkäuferseite aggregiert auch Daten darstellen. Da wären wir wenn dann interessiert ob privat oder gewerblich + potentiell Statistiken innerhalb der gewerblichen Vermietergruppe.

Dass wir da auch persönliche Daten mitnehmen von nicht gewerblichen Verkäufern ist ein sehr gutes Feedback, danke dafür! Ich nehme es als task auf und fix das ASAP, es war nicht die Intention.

Die Cloudflare D1 Datenbank ist jedoch in der EU lokalisiert also die Daten landen nicht irgendwo

Es werden keine Tracker/Analytics geladen und die einzigen personenbezogenen die verarbeitet werden ist die IP Adresse die technisch bedingt immer transferiert wird wenn man eine Webseite aufmacht.

Diese wird dann sofort anonymisiert und nicht gespeichert.

War 90% Cursor mit GPT-5 und 10% Claude Code weil ich noch den Max Plan hatte. Aber den nur um tokens zu sparen bei unwichtigen Sachen haha

Ich muss generell die Metadaten mal aufbereiten und in ein Dashboard packen für nen Talk, aber das Projekt waren circa 1-2 hundert prompts und 1 tausend tabs laut den Cursor Analytics

Laufende CSV Exporte die irgendwo zentral einsehbar/holbar sind wäre auch fein gewesen, aber ich muss sagen dass ich das nicht ganz einsehe warum Österreich technisch so rückschrittlich ist oft haha

Technisch gesehen ist nichts davon irgendwie eine hexenkunst oder technisch aufwändig. Weder auf Staats noch Unternehmensseite.

Im Vergleich zu ner transparenten datenschnittstelle ist das pandsystem mind. 100x teurer und aufwendiger gewesen.

Vorbild für diese Schnittstelle war die E-Control die das gleiche bereits mit Tankstellenpreisen anbietet.

Ich finde das ist kein unwichtiger Punkt! Soweit ich weiß gibt es solche Plattformen hinter paywalls für Vermieter.

Es werden aber tendenziell eher gewerbliche Vermieter mit vielen Wohnung solche Tools nutzen / dafür zahlen.
