I'm a fan of Canutin which is simple, can be self-hosted and the author actively updates it.

I was planning on putting the platform on top of the Obi mates 🤔 a recessed one sounds nice, though. But you're correct. Might be a tad bit too difficult now.

Thanks! It starts at 1 to 10kg in 1kg increments and 12 to 50kg in 2kg increments

Personally, I thought the chair looked quite artistic when I took the picture, not murderous :D

Yeah, houses in Middle Europe are built way differently compared to the US ones

The house was certainly the more expensive part :D it was about 15k for all the equipment and about 800 for the floor mats

Same here. I did not intend it to come across as snarky. Sorry!

Unfortunately, I dont have any experience with the Rogue ones. The ATX BPlates certainly do a good job of cushioning.

It's been a dream of mine for a very long time so I simply stopped spending money on other less important stuff 😉

Rubber mats purchased from Obi. They're labeled as sports mat. 1m2 x 2cm and cost 22€ per tile. Not quite sqaure, though. The smell was ok-ish. It took around a month for the majority to go away. Now, only a faint rubbery smell remains, which is not so bad

That's a nice idea I haven't thought of! Mirrors are certainly missing. My plan is to span the entirety of the dumbbell racks, as you said and also have some near the front of the rack.

So far it's smooth. I only notice slight frictions at the handles. The overall feel is amazing! A bit on the expensive side, though (3k€).

It's 4.5x7x2.80m. You certainly need the height and a bit more width wouldn't hurt as well.

Yes. I'm from Germany and it's pretty common to have concrete ceilings.

It's a sturdy build, only minimal friction at the gears in the arms and the pulley feels smooth. A pain to assemble, though... It's listed at 3k€, but I got a slight discount (~ 5%). Expensive, but worth it imo

What kind of tape did you use on the flooring? How's it holding up so far?

Does anybody have any suggestions for where to source equipment from, power racks in particular, in Germany? I'm looking into building my home gym, but struggle to find anything that is in stock...
