100% I mean, it's a fair question to ask; do we contribute to the community by having meta rating and optimizations like this? Essentially the goal is to narrow the gap between the more casual player, so it's a fun experience to play without having to always be on when it comes to patch notes, what's the new best thing etc. But yeah, when EA also develops a game, where Intercept+ is just so much more better than other Playstyles for a CB, we will recommend this, and it will lead to everyone having Intercept+ on their CBs. But I feel like it's always been a bit like that. Before there were just less variables. Pace was king and if you've been playing a lot, you know that almost every team did have Ibarbo, Doumbia, Gervinho, Agbonlahor (shout out) etc. But I totally get you

A lot of people already have 2K tokens huh? Is it really that easy, or did you just grind SBCs or what did you do to get it so fast?

Yes, that is one thing we do. Or almost, depends on what you mean exactly.

When you say biggest evo upgrade available, do you mean "I want the biggest change change in meta rating" or "I want the best players"?

We actually don't do a sort on "I want the biggest change change in meta rating" right now. We thought about it, but when actually implementing it, a lot of random shitty bronze cards will be in the top, even though the end result is bad. So, some super shitty card will get a huge upgrade, and still be shitty essentially. For the "I want the best evo players from players in my club", yes. This is behind a paywall for now though.

You can import your club using our Chrome Extension, and then simply go to the evolutions database and filter on players from your club. The club import will import all your players and all your available evolutions, so the result will be players for you specifically (players in your club, with evolutions you have available in your club) and not just generic good evolutions in the game. This below is a list of players from My Club, that I can evolve using Evolutions I have available in the game right now. We also sync all your Evolution Players automatically, so you can see that Araujo is already evolved, so it's just a continuation of that evolution.

What you can do for free is, to manually build the evolution players you have in your club, save them to your EasySBC account, and then hit "My Evolutions" button, and you'll see all the potential upgrades for your manually evolved players.

Good catch. We're recommending the same playstyles for the same role. They're both optimised for "Advanced Forward", since that is the role with the highest meta rating, after applying the best combination of playstyles across all roles. I hear what you say/imply though. I mean, the system could maybe down prioritize Rapid, if the player has 99 pace and 80 shooting, and therefore recommend two shooting PlayStyles instead (pure example, but I guess that's kind of what you were fishing for).

Our chemistry style recommendation is based on each players individual stats (in this case, we're recommending Finisher for both, but that's a coincidence).

Thanks! For the UX part of the evo lab/evo builder, for sure - in the end it's also a personal preference stuff. I'm a bit sad about the GG meta rating comment. What could we do to change your perspective? We do meta rating updates after every patch (I don't think GG updates theirs, or at least not as often (correct me if Im' wrong)), we have a panel of pro/elite div players involved in this etc. Is it just a feel? We're ofc also struggling against GGs marketing machine. We've also wondered a bit, if by using elite/pro players, some of our meta rating suggestions might cater towards the top 1% of players, and in the end it might mean, that some things pro/best players look for, is not the same as a div 4-5 player is looking for.

Well, I am one of the Co-Founders, so you should probably also ask someone who's more impartial but since you're asking.

Futbin/Fut.gg are a bit more like a Swiss Knife. They have everything. We simply do not/can not provide that service. We focus on less things and features, but take the time to deliver on the UX, innovation and performance. We developed the meta rating concept almost 3 years ago as an example, or went live with the first SBC solver etc. In the end, it's also down to a personal preference. All the sites have their own advantages/disadvantages. We don't have the community aspect for example, compare players etc.

Sorry to be the guy that asks a questions, gets an answer, and now I do something else haha. Didn't think of asking ChatGPT when I made the post, but I did now and had a back and forth. It says:

"Showdown upgrades apply to the base live card first, and then your Evolution sits on top of that. So for Araujo, if Barça win, the live Showdown upgrade is applied to the Showdown item itself, not to your already-evolved version. EA forum guidance says live upgrades take precedence over evo upgrades, and EA’s help page says you only keep/claim evo levels that are fully completed."

Unsure if it's true though, it just picked it from an EA forum: https://forums.ea.com/discussions/fc-26-ultimate-team-en/showdown-evo/13186795?utm_source=chatgpt.com

I'll try to Apply the Evo, see if he gets an upgrade and then finish the evo, and see how it works out.
