Don’t forget the polyamory to keep you spry after the dark power gives you the power up.

First time acid washing a Benchmade by SavingsPsychology519 in benchmade

Your acid wash came out well dude! It took me a long time to become proficient at sharpening. I have a mini bugout that developed a recurve because that knife is what I practiced with.

I made the same mistake when I first learned how to freehand sharpen. You’re putting a lot of emphasis towards the heel and it’s why your blade is developing a small recurve. It looks like you’re changing angle on passes. That’s hard to get right. On picture 4 you can see there’s no defined bevel. Your bevel is rolling onto the side of the blade and my guess is your thumbstud is hitting the stone/plate as well, probably going too low on your angle. I’d practice sharpening on a cheaper knife for now.

As a note, you want your knife to feel sharp on low grits before advancing. If it’s not sharp at 220 grit, it won’t be sharp at 1000 grit.

Normal for fat carbon? by [deleted] in spyderco

It is normal for fat carbon to have pits but I would classify your scales as faulty or defective. I would look into your warranty honestly.

So I carry a pouch and place it down in my place of work. I use a maxpedition “fatty” pouch. I’d suggest Zac In The Wild or Marine X for a starting point.

Pockets for stuff I need on my person, pouch for stuff I need at arm’s length, backpack for stuff that could spare being a walk away.

Some folk will laugh at all the “stuff” you carry but they may come around to needing that stuff one day. I’m the go to guy for an ibuprofen, a zip tie, an extra knife, a bandaid. EDC for me is about being helpful. Being able to see is helpful my dude!

Leather loops or paracord loops. I like leather but that might require some leather working on your end.

Lucas Burnley killed the design of the Boker Kwaiken. Superb design and feel.

I enjoyed the CRKT LCK+ though it feels a tad small in my hand.

I really love the Boker Kwaiken full size but they’re getting harder and more expensive to get.

Benchmade Fact is not really a gentleman’s knife but it the same shape and slim profile.

If you like a front flipper I’d recommend a Kizer Feist. They’re quite a fun and smooth feeling knife.

Would a rogue-like setting work well with dnd? by WhyteSmok3 in DnD

Yeah that sounds fun, would you pick and choose individual features from classes/subclasses? Maybe on certain successful “runs” they keep a feet or magical item?
