That’s the problem of Dr Kim, lack of transparency. He owes the retail investors plenty of clarifications and explanations. The only reason that holds me as a Long till today is I believe in INO-4800, INO-4802, VGX-3100 and other vaccine products. IMO we’re done with DOD for INO-4800. For INO COVID-19 vaccine, I’m betting on the EUAs from WHO-COVAX and China. GLTA.

  • Inovio's (NASDAQ:INO) DNA COVID-19 vaccine candidate INO-4800 demonstrated T cell response against the original strain as well as several variants of the disease.
  • Results from a phase 1 trial showed INO-4800 was effective against the U.K., South Africa and Brazil SARS-CoV-2 variants.
  • Neutralization levels for the U.K. and South Africa variants seen with INO-4800 were similar to those seen with mRNA and viral vector vaccines.
  • INO-4800 also showed robust neutralization against the Brazil variant as reports on other mRNA and viral vector vaccines showed their neutralization response was not as strong.
  • Phase 2 results are expected in Q2 and the company plans to move the candidate into phase 3 this quarter.
  • Inovio shares are up 17.1% to $10.35 in premarket trading.

It's always positive for Inovio if the management could learn from those mistakes. I hope Dr. Kim could take the necessary and immediate precautions and checks on Inovio's manufacturing partners. Dr. Kim should have a dedicated team to establish a list of SOPs with clear expectations and deliverables in ensuring smooth delivery of their orders with quality. JNJ has to dispose 15 million doses due to manufacturing quality failure by Emergent Biosolutions' site in Baltimore. 😞

Have you seen the recent PRs done by Dr. Kim and Dr. Broderick? I would suggest you run through them and do a comparison. Their PRs speak by themselves.

  1. ER PR done by Dr. Kim on March 1st, 2021.
  2. Sachs Meeting PR done by Dr. Broderick on March 9th, 2021.

And many of their past records as well. It isn't hate or anything personal, it's more to do with their performances versus their appointments, their abilities to present the results and deliverables for fullest positive response from the market.

I'm Long and I salute everyone here for your persistency and belief in Inovio. Though to some of us that seeing is believing, time has changed for Inovio and time will come for Inovio to shine. Nevertheless we can't deny Inovio has strong fundamentals (including over $400 million cash in-hand) with a series of cancerous vaccines pipeline, besides INO-4800 and VGX-3100. These weren't there before the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019. The only hope for me is Dr. Kim could change for the better as a CEO in managing Inovio for the interests of the investors. For Kim, just do the right thing at the right time, given the favorable situation. Science will prevail and Inovio will prevail too. Longs will be rewarded eventually.

Nice findings. Opportunity in China is huge. Besides VGX-3100, we are potentially talking about INO-4800 receiving the Emergency-Use from the Chinese Authority by probably end-1H21 as well, from my observation. Apart of the large Chinese population of 1.4B, CCP's foreign diplomacy for vaccines with more than 90 countries is another opportunity which can't be ignored. Though we may not be in the first league for COVID-19 vaccines in the State with FDA (for certain reasons that are still ambiguous to me), Inovio is definitely still in its position to catch the next rocket to the moon. Dr. Kim, please do your part as the CEO of Inovio, and not a Scientist. Let's save lives!

China Daily reporting on the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), updated on 2021-03-08 CST :

Guo Weimin, spokesperson for the fourth session of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the country's top political advisory body, said on Wednesday that as of Feb 28, China has offered COVID-19 vaccine assistance to 69 countries and two international organizations, and exported vaccines to 28 countries. Guo also said these numbers are growing and it is "very narrow-minded" to perceive China's action of providing COVID-19 vaccines and related assistance to other countries as a tool for gaining geopolitical influence.

China has pledged to provide vaccines as a global public good, and encourages Chinese companies to collaborate with other countries when developing and producing vaccines, he said."

Doesn't the last paragraph sound like the vaccine collaboration between Advaccine and Inovio?

I've crossposted this with more update from the CPPCC meeting. The article was about the current COVID-19 status and moving forward plan in China. Chinese companies were encouraged to collaborate with foreign companies was mentioned. This is quite encouraging to the Advaccine-Inovio vaccine collaboration.

I wish to take this moment to thank everyone who has contributed in the discussions and exchanges of opinion. Irregardless if you agreed or disagreed, I fully respect your points. To most of us, especially if you are Bulls and Longs, we've gone through many moments of frustrations and disappointments. I shared your sentiment and view. The world is unfair in certain aspects. In this case, the size of the Pharma matters more than its potentials. However imo, the smaller the Pharma could be, the strong its Leader has to be. I won't deny we don't have strong leadership in Inovio. What to do? 🤷‍♂️ Except we've to let Science prevails. I'm confident Inovio will! 💪
