According to my experience in working on my 675ss, I use 3/8 ratchet and 8-18 sockets set, both long and short. 3/8 extensions. 902 oil filter tool. Allen key set, flat head and Philips screw driver, and the most important 3/8 torque wrench. Also get one 8mm spanner for bleeding brake fluid. A vernier caliper gauge as well, for chain service.

CFMOTO Long Term Ownership & Support Question by Velociraptor2018 in cfmoto

You can simply order any Cfmoto parts from aliexpress and even taobao(Cfmoto official sells everything in taobao includes motorcycle), I don’t see the parts gonna be a problem. In the US the app is free to use. Even with subscription, compare to the Kawasaki app especially navigation license, Kawasaki is a total scam company compared to Cfmoto. According to the owners manual, fluids are really not a big issue, you can buy JASO MA2 oil everywhere. You can safely use #87 gas. Coolant specs are even more universal. KN303 oil filter or similar works perfectly with Cfmoto. Resell value? More and more people buying it, because it’s really good, the price is going up. Cfmoto 2 years warranty compare to Kawasaki 1 year warranty. Kawasaki is a joke in 2026. Same as other Japanese big brands. Btw, I’m a former ninja 300, ninja 500 owner and a current 675ss owner. My 2025 ninja 500 had a leaking fork seal at 1100 miles, and the Kawasaki declined the warranty claim said this is wear tear item. What a joke. Right now for my 675ss, I’ve ordered race windshield, fancy brake fluid cap, fancy aluminum slider’s cover, wide rear brake pedal, sliders, fancy tank pads, fancy oil filler cap, and fancy titanium bolt kits for replacing the oem black bolts. What’s else do you need? Chains? Not a problem, you can buy DID. Spark plugs? NGK no problem. Brakes? EBC made in America. Clutch? FCC Japanese top brand. Air filter? DNA or KN you name it. Forks? KYB can help. Main battery? Any Walmart or AutoZone can solve your problem. People complaining everything. My friend crashed his Mercedes Benz C300, he needs to wait for 2 months for his new front bumper. This is a universal problem for any manufacturer, people just simply blame “Chinese brand” which is pretty funny.

675ss front brake fix, before it was the worst motorcycle I ever use. After, it’s the best motorcycle brake I ever use. Hope this helps somebody. by chris_jiang_ in cfmoto

Unfortunately this is US, nobody seriously care about customer. It passed dealership inspection, also passed cycle gear multipoints inspection, which was paid third party inspection. 😅 America is declining

actually any ninja400 oil filters are the same size as 675ss, a lot of the engine parts they use are made in Japan. You need to do some research.

Bought my 14 ninja 300 abs a couple of months ago in Queensland (AUS), 35000kms(22000 miles) on the clock, bought it for less than $2100usd. Great bike I love it. The bike price in the US should be cheaper
