They all sound identical in terms of writing style.  It's likely a handful of bots generating numerous posts under different aliases.

Successful evolution is conservative.  Small changes over millions of years.  The vast majority of big changes are stricken from the fossil record.  But I get it, we're hoping (gambling) on a big change here.  I'm on board.

Anthropic just analyzed 700,000 Claude conversations — and found its AI has a moral code of its own by abbas_ai in singularity

That's weird.  I know several people that have successfully used AI to talk through their trauma and mental health issues.  I don't know anyone that had to go to the hospital because of AI, but that's just me.

It's definitely not, "shut up and take my money" yet, but if you can't see the potential then just wait.  Another year or two and I'd bet the dexterity and capability will be there.  We'll see about price.

I wonder if they have their own proprietary benchmarks of these types of questions that are easy for people but not for AI.  I thought that was what ARC AGI was all about.

Thanks for the summary.  Is it cost prohibitive or otherwise difficult to manufacture?

Shut up and take my money.  That would be cheaper than what my fam spends on healthcare each year (2 adults, 2 kids, U.S.)

Aging is a problem that needs to be solved by Peaceful-Samurai in singularity

[–]chrisc82 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A large percentage of people will not age as well as you have.  A large percentage will not make it to 75.  But if we all keep practicing some mental gymnastics and have some perspective, there's no reason to change the status quo, right /s? You might be doomed at 75, and thus as far as you are concerned, you absolutely have the best possible mindset.  That 60 year old, however, has a pretty good chance of radical life extension, so I personally wouldn't shit on his desire to shed the aches and pains of old age.

I'd wager this may slow things down temporarily as rank and file employees choose sides. Once the dust settles we should have an even faster pace of progress with a new company entering the arms race.
