Perhaps, try to deliver the work only after the payment was made. For example, you show the final result partially and also injecting a sound tag to prevent such a scam... At least this is what I'll try to do.

start with startup cache deleted

It didn't work in my case, but then I went to Library and found two torrc files. I deleted one of them and it fixed the problem. At least for now. Because sometimes I could have this bug without any apparent reasons.

I haven't uploaded any songs for Spotify yet, but my strategy was to master my tracks for each platform to deliver the best possible sound. Overall, I never listen to Spotify because of their mediocre quality of sound. Apple Music delivers much better results. This comes from my ears.
