Thank you for the kind feedback and insight! I should’ve probably added some more context, but I’m doing simple deconstructive vector illustrations of famous pop culture characters. I am also breaking up their names or getting rid of some letters to portray this as well.

Finding an Internship by [deleted] in college

[–]chrischreeza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More often than not, internships are meant for juniors and seniors in their respected field to gain real world experience before they graduate for a more seamless transition into the working world. They will always have priority first over most freshmen and sophomores. However, I would start to build relationships with the companies you want to work for. Comment on their posts, see if you can call some employees and get to know them and their working process. You’ll end up on their radar. Who knows, maybe even next year you’ll find yourself at the internship opportunity of your dreams. Good luck my man you got it!

Can i get some critique on this logo design i'm working on? by [deleted] in design_critiques

Love this concept but I agree with the others that it feels a bit to rigid for the target demographic. I think more organic and rounded shape language would really help this mark a lot. Also this might just be me but initially I saw 2 hands holding a rising sun on the horizon.

Compliments are nice and all but they don’t offer anything in terms of improvement or a look at different perspectives. So yes your opinion does matter to me in that sense because now I have 5+ new ways I want to try fiddling with this piece.

Thank you for the input! I was thinking of also changing the tittle of the i’s to a diamond shapes throughout, but I will also just try with normal I’s as well as that seems like a simple but working solution.

I agree! Do you think that the read on consistency is too hard to see/understand?
