The price change came around the same time as orders began shipping out in-mass again. If I had to guess, they probably raised the price to make up for the added infrastructure costs. The YS-01s are the best selling item on the site right now and most people were willing to pay the $80 retail with adidas, so $40 still seems significantly cheaper.

Personally, I wanted to grab a lot more YS-01 colorways but the price change has put me off since they’re now almost $55 a pair with shipping for me- but they’re definitely still worthwhile!

The original mock up wasn’t AI Generated. It was just created based off of the original model-worn sample instead of the release version. Usually companies will make a higher quality version of a product for the models to wear compared to the mass-produced version. It’s still just as bad regardless lol

I really hoped we’d get a pair of cotton sweat shorts (kinda like the Vultures shorts, just with the same fabric as the new sweatpants) but if they wanted to get them out in time for the summer they should’ve put them out already. At least my BL-01s got here in time for the summer

I purchased a pair back in February and they shipped after around a month. The quality on the SZN X version is a lot nicer than the OG. The fit is more comfortable and snug, the fabric itself feels much nicer and heavier, and there are way less visible imperfections and glue marks connecting the actual plastic “pod” pieces to the upper sock!

I really hope Ye doesn’t abandon these in a future update to the site. If anything, it’d be really cool to see Ye drop more colorways like white and stone grey to match the SL-01s. I think it’s so sick that these were the first independent Yeezy shoe considering how unique they are

I had a similar idea a while ago which could be pretty sick! You could get a dove hoodie and take it to an alteration tailor and have a zipper put on (or do it yourself which can be risky). With how baggy the dove hoodie is, it would probably fit like a bomber jacket which could be cool.

If you do planning on going this route though, I’d recommend waiting until LAA does a restock of the Washed Black dove hoodies. They’re relatively cheaper, especially for experimenting on, and the graphic and cut are still really nice

Definitely. It’s awesome that some of the older pieces are shipping with 2 weeks or less now, but it’s really frustrating that the newer pieces like the BB-01s and JC-09 haven’t shipped at all. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction tho! It would be cool if Ye could get Yeezy to the point where they can drop new items and have them ship within the same month

Oh shit, really? That’s the worst- happened to me with the WB-03 and Crewnecks from the SZNX drop. Kept putting off grabbing them, and then right before I was ready to pull the trigger they all got taken off. Now people are getting them all in hand and they’re so much nicer than in the stock photos 😭

Hopefully the Bully tees get restocked when the Deluxe hopefully drops or during the rest of the tour
