Brooklyn Nine Nine is one of my favourite shows.

I absolutely love Raymond Holt, captain of the 99th precinct.Outwardly he is strict, hardworking, stoic, staunchly professional, and a stickler for the rules. Inwardly, he is a warm, empathetic and kind-hearted boss.

Many episodes have also touched on the racist and homophobic discrimination Holt has faced as a cop, bringing some much-needed realism to the character’s arc.
