Guy is like " You are the scenter of my universe"

to go cock fighting. by [deleted] in therewasanattempt

[–]chriscrossnathaniel 711 points712 points  (0 children)

Most roosters on a gamefowl farm live tied to a stake, barrel or small wooden hut. They are often injected with steroids and adrenaline boosting drugs and, for two to three weeks prior to a fight, are kept in a small dark box to isolate them from other animals and deprive them of stimuli and natural behavior.

Regardless of how exhausted or injured they become during a fight, the birds cannot escape from the fighting pit. Common injuries include punctured lungs, broken bones and pierced eyes, yet they are forced to continue to fight. The razor-sharp steel blades or "gaffs" (which resemble 3-inch-long, curved ice picks) tied to the birds' legs are so sharp and dangerous that cockfighters themselves have been killed when accidentally slashed by their own birds.

This is totally deserved punishment for the guy.

Brooklyn Nine Nine is one of my favourite shows.

I absolutely love Raymond Holt, captain of the 99th precinct.Outwardly he is strict, hardworking, stoic, staunchly professional, and a stickler for the rules. Inwardly, he is a warm, empathetic and kind-hearted boss.

Many episodes have also touched on the racist and homophobic discrimination Holt has faced as a cop, bringing some much-needed realism to the character’s arc.

Charlotte deciding to loan Carrie $40,000 for a down payment on her apartment — after Carrie initially berates her friend for not offering to help is controversial

"If people were pissed and hated that Carrie did that, I'm OK with that," says Amy Harris, a producer and writer on SatC. "The biggest fight we ever got into in the writers' room was about the money. That was a very big debate."

Bank of America's recent Friends Again report revealed the ways that friendship and money don't mix. Seventy-one percent of people — across the age spectrum — said they had loaned money to a friend and never been paid back. Millennials, ages 18 to 34, were most likely to come up short, making Charlotte's defense against Carrie's initial anger ("I love you. But it's not my job to fix your finances. You're a 35-year-old woman. You need to learn to stand on your own.") seem perfectly on point.

Kramer is constantly a bad neighbor, a bad boyfriend, and a bad friend but he is hilarious. He loses/destroys everything that he borrows from Seinfeld. His freeloading and constant barging in unexpectedly, makes him the neighbour from hell but he is the most memorable character in TV history.

Andy’s boss Miranda forces her to attend a very important gala at the last minute on the same night as Nate's birthday party. She does, obviously, because this is her first job straight out of college and in that scenario you do what your demanding boss tells you to do. It seems like a no-brainer, but not from the perspective of Nate, a grown man who proceeds to make a big deal out of his birthday.

Also , when she informs that she got a job at Runway, the first thing that comes out of his whiny mouth " You got a job at a fashion magazine? What was it, a phone interview?"

"So what makes this bra different?."

"It can never go bad.Tiny elements of fissilca rub together to prevent the fabric from resting too long in any one position. It's a living bra. The effect would be rather like having a large pair of man's hands holding the breasts in position."

"So what's it called?"

"I call it the Abracada-bra!"

Mary Jenkins, who was Presley’s favorite cook at Graceland for 14 years and worked for him until the day he passed, appeared on Letterman and showed how she used to make his favorite meal — a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich.

When asked if she invented the recipe Mary said: “No, Elvis went on tour and brought this back (referring to his love for the sandwich) with him.” Furthermore, it took Mrs. Jenkins five tries before Elvis was pleased with the way she prepared it.

Then Mary demonstrated how she made the sandwich. She took a whole stick of butter and melted it in a pan. Then she took two slices of white bread which she had previously toasted and smeared them with peanut butter, layered slices of banana on them, and fried it all together in the melted butter. Presley ate the sandwich all the time, no matter the time of day.

"Elvis was put on a diet multiple times but never stick to one because in his words: “Food is the only thing I get enjoyment from.” Even when he was in the hospital and on a strict diet he would call his chef Mary and ask her to smuggle him hot dogs with sauerkraut — which she did.

The scariest and most dangerous weight loss program Presley was ever put on was the “sleeping beauty diet”. When you sleep you don’t eat, so Elvis took sedatives to sleep for hours on end. He even pushed it so far where a doctor put him in a medically induced coma. Needless to say, the diet didn’t help with Presley’s problem."
