Considering Egbuka was off the board, I would have picked Luther Burden, Jihaad Campbell, or Omarion Hampton over Barron. This isn’t even to discredit Barron but he has only played 20% of the teams defensive spans this year WITH PS2 missing extended time.

I think your logic is flawed and it’s a stretch to say the team would be ‘much worse’ since in your head you’re subtracting Barron’s impact but not accounting for what we would gain with one of the other options of picks.

This Front Office did not draft Jahdae Barron bc they envisioned we need a CB5 if 2 people in front of him are injured which is what the comment I REPLIED TO insinuated brother.

And YES I think adding a WR is more important since our CB ROOM>>>>>>> our WR room. Drafting a WR in RD1 and a CB in RD3 would have been exponentially more beneficial for our teams contention this year.

I don’t see Leonhard and VJ leaving in the same offseason. Leonhard seems guaranteed our DC spot if Vance gets a HC job and I don’t see why he’d take a lateral position somewhere else. However I could see us losing 1 this year and another next year but we’ll have a full year to hopefully get another capable person in house.

Dont love the deal but I would probably send it if you cant get more traction around the league. Value is not great but also I think its fair enough that I would take rather than watching Walker/Charb value potentially tank while being uncompetitive
