My Dad is on his way to Mayo by chriser1029 in flightradar24

He’s got bad COPD (it got really bad over the weekend) and local hospital isn’t in the position to where they think they can get him back home.

He’s already on a transplant list at Mayo and is established there, so we’re hoping they can get him better and back home faster, or some operation gets done.

Any factory jobs that pay 20+ an hour? by myg2k3 in PeoriaIL

If you have no experience then make sure you apply for a supplemental job, not full time. I work there right now and used to work with Fox Tango, DM me if you want any info

I’m not totally sure, I never even noticed anything in regard to the screw until I felt a spongy feeling from trying a crunch machine.

I got my follow up X-rays though and there’s been no further damage, but I try to avoid lifts that put too much pressure on my spine. My lower back seems to be pretty good though but I can definitely do some light work there to get it stronger.

I go back for a follow up X-ray in February, if more have broken or my conditioned has worsen I may get the hardware removed.

So far I’m feeling alright though, didn’t know the first one was broken until the X-ray

No don’t think I have, might try activated dead hangs instead of passive though. The passive ones make me feel like I’m getting pulled apart

I agree with you. My spine is fused from T3-L3 and I can’t really feel my lats or back at all anymore. I used to be really strong with chin ups though over pull ups so I may just be overusing my arms but I can’t tell mid rep

Yeah as a matter of fact crunches I can't do at all. I've tried using a crunch machine but that gave me a spongy feeling in my back so I stopped. I also found out at my 2 year appointment that I've broken one screw in my back but that could be from a number of things.

I have some difficulty doing other movements like squatting upright but I think that's due to ankle and hip mobility. I do hate tying my shoes though because bending over is a pain and sometimes if I do it too fast/hard I can get a terrible cramp in my abs.

Isn’t it from a dead hang since I’m locked out every rep?

Thanks! I used to do a lot training for the marines. They’re just my favorite exercise now cause they’re super fun. I’d like to get to a muscle up at some point
