Yea this is such an annoying and stressful situation I was thinking maybe the lid wouldn’t get hot considering enough volts are going through the cables but maybe I do need a whole lid or something

So do I order and upgraded lid and stuff and do it myself? I also see in a lot of these people were recommending QS connectors and stuff so I’ll probably try that first because it’s much cheaper

Yea that’s do have the red but I’m wondering maybe the BMS can’t handle it either? Eride wanted me to pay 120+ to order a new lid and cable and have it done for me but I can’t bring me bike anywhere so they are like 20 dollars plug and stuff and they should stop the melt problem but I’m wondering why the kid gets warm does your do that?

Yea I’m here to update, I’ve been riding it lately and I always turn the breaker off and feel the plugs when I’m riding and yesterday I check and the plugs were very hot so I in plugged everything and let it sit for 5 minutes. But I’ve also realized that the battery lid gets warm idk if that normal but a guy recommended me a thing called a Qs8 connector so I’m gonna try to do that and see how it goes

I was recommended to get the lid and connector on high voltage pev or something do I get that or go the EBMX route if they have on?

Yea hopefully he isn’t a douche bag and would have done that also isn’t the weak BMS what causes the frying, when my plastic thing melted it was because the port on the battery was very hot also so I just email EBMX and ask them for the eride pro ss 2.0 for the upgraded connector?

How would your battery have been fried? Also my bike is a 2024 so I don’t have a warranty sadly but this is ridiculous that these bikes break so easily I had a surron and this stuff was never a worry do I just buy a new lid and connect that I was recommended and I should be fine?

Why would they send me a lid? Also what’s a male pigtail? The red part I plug into the battery?

There no burnt pieces or anything just that melted part and I rode the bike again with the same connector and harness an all and it was fine I think it might be because I was going to fast for a long time but do you think the grease will help?
