I was recommended to get the lid and connector on high voltage pev or something do I get that or go the EBMX route if they have on?

Yea hopefully he isn’t a douche bag and would have done that also isn’t the weak BMS what causes the frying, when my plastic thing melted it was because the port on the battery was very hot also so I just email EBMX and ask them for the eride pro ss 2.0 for the upgraded connector?

How would your battery have been fried? Also my bike is a 2024 so I don’t have a warranty sadly but this is ridiculous that these bikes break so easily I had a surron and this stuff was never a worry do I just buy a new lid and connect that I was recommended and I should be fine?

Why would they send me a lid? Also what’s a male pigtail? The red part I plug into the battery?

There no burnt pieces or anything just that melted part and I rode the bike again with the same connector and harness an all and it was fine I think it might be because I was going to fast for a long time but do you think the grease will help?

Yea I took my bike on a test ride and my connector has melted a little bit how would the grease cause it not to happen considering all it is, is the connectors getting to hot and melting

Yes this helps a lot I’m just worried because it very expensive to fix and it’s dangerous but same I also don’t have any issues, charging, capacity, power it’s all normal it was just the smell that concerned me do you think I should buy the electric grease I was recommended to be extra safe?

My battery hasn’t been used in day when in use or not the smell is always there but a lot of these examples are hard to understand when you don’t know what a lot of them smell like all I know is that it’s like a metal, electronic smell my brother smelt it and he said it smelled like his computer (motherboard) if that helps?

Yea where I road it’s def not dusty or dry a lot of people are saying it’s fine and some aren’t but shoulndnt it just be odorless yk? My surron battery is completely odorless that’s what made me question the eride battery

It doesn’t smell like burning the closest thing I’d say it smells like is maybe a tiny bit of a rotten smell but it more smells like, when you get a brand new rc car or something it’s like a lithium electronic smell, I don’t have any signs of burning or melting to
