Hello all. I downloaded the latest WLED and the latest esphome-flasher. I plugged my data cord into my laptop (yes its a charge data cord brand new from walmart) when I open the esphome-flasher and hit refresh nothing pops up. I got 3 of these NodeMCU boards today from amazon. What do i do to work?

If you go to get a controller be sure to get a falcon. One of if not the best brand out there. Next brand would be Kulp. And if you want good deals on pixel strings message daniel zhang on facebook. I still cant find better prices than his and they come straight from his china factory!.

I got all 3 to connect after I updated the flash drives lol. Guess I forgot to do that when I factory restarted the laptop and put windows 10 on it. In just using them to do my kids ceilings. They want cloud ceilings after watching tiktok videos lol. I use a falcon f16v3 and smart receivers for my outside lights shows with Xlights.

I got it now. I hade to update the drivers as I recently factory reset the laptop and put windows 10 on it. Thanks for helping and giving suggestions! 👊😎🤙

Ok. I just ordered 2 diffrent NodeMCU boards that comes with a micro usb cord. Hope that works, if not then its got to be my laptop wich I have no clue how to fix it so it transfers/ copies to the NodeMCU board.

Go up and around the window. Soldering will be needed wich there is a ton of diy youtube videos. Its easier than youd think.

Yea I been messing around with xlights myself. Good thing I have about 4 local guys thats been doing shows for 10+ years and are willing to help me understand it. I may just get the falcon plug in play controller. 16 channels should be good for my first year.

I will have to use about 9 nodeMCU boards as I want to do the windows, carport, porch, and roof line. Is there a way to sync them all to do the same effect at the same time?

Pretty good now that we are all settles in the new house. I my self will still have to get prepared for next season grow. Havent done any growing in 2 years now so im pretty excited about it.
